Biggest joke of a business establishment ever!!! Me and my fiace went in yesterday to get a new bedframe and set only customer their and it took over an hour for us to get checked out after picking out the set we wanted. One of the managers Brandon went on to complain and complain about how no one liked him because he just became a manager and how nobody did their job correctly besides him. He was just arrogant and very dramatic. This ofcourse irritated us and made us uncomfortable but we just wanted the frame so we just bared with it until we left. Now cut to today with the severe weather our frame couldnt be delivered which we understood and wanted to move our account to the Mount Pleasant branch so we drove down to the alma store and my fiance goes in too just chaos. A manager walks out and the same manager we dealt with yesterday is even more arrogant and just not a good customer care person whatsoever. Begins to argue with my fiance and accusses him of lying afrer we cancelled our bed order and wanted our refund so we could move our business elsewhere. After finally the storr manager comes back and gives us our refund the snotty manager brandon or whatever his name was remarks that they send refferals between stores implying that because we changed our business he was give us a poor review. Once my fiancee and I were in the store and a group of three employees were talking negatively about another employee, who was in another room with the door open, in front of customers. They bring their personal lives into work as well and have no respect for the company. One doesn't even wear a name tag (probably because she is the worst of them). I will gladly take my business to another facility as the company itself is fine. It's just the employees in Alma rent a center that don't seem to have any respect or people skills. DON'T work customer service if you don't want to work with the public. I also brought a laptop in there to be serviced and they told me they would call when it was done and I waited 2 weeks and went back in there and they said "oh yeah we've had that laptop back". Read moreWorst RAC ever. First red flag I needed a Washer/ Dryer set the one I wanted was on back order so they brought me a cheaper set. I called and called and was told for months that it was still on back order. Finally I gave up asking because I had already paid so much on the cheap set. Then a week before the 6 months same as cash date came around, I called got my total to pay it off. The day it was due I got online to pay it off (which is how I made all my payments) and the app wouldn't let me change the amount to pay, it would only let me pay in bi-weekly payments. Being after hours I called the next day to be told my 6 month date was the day before (same day I tried to pay it off online). I was told they would call their district manager and see what they could do. Never got a call back and now I have to finish out the contract paying $300 extra. Never again I will call another...
