I recently had the pleasure of discovering Alpharetta’s newest sports card store, and it’s nothing short of a collector’s dream come true. This store has quickly become a haven for enthusiasts of all ages.
From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with an atmosphere of pure excitement and nostalgia. The store’s layout is both inviting and organized, with rows upon rows of sports cards, memorabilia, and collectibles neatly displayed. It’s clear that the owners are passionate about providing an exceptional shopping experience.
The selection of sports cards is truly remarkable. Whether you’re into baseball, football, basketball, or even soccer, they have it all. From vintage classics to the latest releases, the store boasts an impressive array of cards that cater to collectors at every level. I was particularly delighted to discover rare rookie cards and limited editions, showcasing their commitment to offering unique treasures.
One of the standout features of this store is its friendly and knowledgeable staff. They are not only passionate about sports cards but also eager to assist customers in finding their perfect collectibles. Whether you’re a novice looking for advice or a seasoned collector seeking specific cards, their expertise is invaluable.
Moreover, the store hosts regular events, such as trading nights and autograph signings with local athletes, fostering a sense of community among collectors. It’s not just a place to shop; it’s a place to connect with fellow enthusiasts who share...
Read moreVery dishonest business practices and extremely poor customer service, especially from the manager. Despite having spent thousands of dollars here over the past few months, I was treated with disrespect and misinformation.
I came in to purchase an XY Evolutions booster box, which was not price-marked — a concerning practice for any reputable retailer. An employee quoted me $1,595 based on TCGPlayer pricing which is accurate per the current data - see screenshot below, and I was ready to pay. Suddenly, the manager intervened and raised the price to $2,000, claiming that “recent eBay sales” justified the change. When I pointed out that TCGPlayer prices were still around $1,600 and even showed him actual eBay sold listings to support this, he insisted on the higher price and falsely claimed TCGPlayer was showing prices above $2,000. It was clear he was being dishonest.
The manager was also incredibly rude, with no understanding of how to treat a loyal customer. This kind of behavior shows a complete lack of professionalism and ethical business standards.
I will not be returning. If you're looking for a trustworthy alternative, I highly recommend Super Games — they’re far more transparent, professional, and...
Read moreI can't say enough excellent things about Giant Sports Cards. Not only have they increased my love for collecting, they have provided me with a community that supports me and roots for me whether it is inside or outside of the store.
I can literally spend hours in there, not just looking at their amazing collection of cards and sealed boxes, but talking to and learning from their amazing staff. John has truly curated the perfect team to manage and work at this shop. DJ, Ethan, Kevin, Mirage, and Danny are all some of the best people I have met.
From the amount of time I have spent in the store, I have seen the way they all carry themselves with the utmost professionalism. They treat new collectors, kids, and long-time hobbyists with equal amounts of courtesy and class. I have seen other card stores ignore or berate customers for not knowing a lot about the market, or for having cards that may not be worth a ton, but at Giant, they give every customer the same amount of attention.
There truly is no other shop like Giant Sports Cards.
PS. Come to their trade nights. They are an...
