🍕 Curry Pizza House x Hidden Tap & Barrel – Where Masala Meets Mozzarella in Alpharetta Visited On: Saturday Location: Alpharetta, GA Order Highlights: Chicken Tikka Pizza, Achari Gobi Pizza, Garlic Sticks, Mango Lassi, Craft Beer (Hidden Tap)
First Impressions: Walk into Curry Pizza House and you're instantly hit with a fusion of aroma - fired pizza mingled with the warmth of Indian spices. The vibe? A perfect cross between an urban taproom and a casual, trendy eatery. Bonus: The open kitchen and draft wall add energy and character right away.
The Pizza: Let’s talk fusion done right. The Chicken Tikka Pizza was everything you'd hope for—juicy, tender chicken marinated to perfection, resting on a crisp yet chewy crust with just enough char. The tomato base had a mild masala kick that elevated every bite. Add melty mozzarella and a sprinkle of cilantro? Fire. 🔥
Then came the Achari Gobi Pizza — a total sleeper hit. Tangy pickled cauliflower, spicy layers of Indian achaar flavor, all balanced by smooth cheese and that signature crust. It’s the kind of bold flavor that makes you pause and say, “Wow, why hasn’t anyone done this before?”
Sides & Sips: Don’t skip the Garlic Sticks — buttery, fluffy, and perfect for dipping in their spicy curry sauce or ranch. The Mango Lassi was smooth, not too sweet, and refreshingly cooled down the heat from the pizza.
Pair all of this with a cold craft beer from the Hidden Tap lineup, and you’ve got a meal that blends two cultures in the most delicious way possible.
Highlight Moment: That moment when the tikka spices hit your tongue right as you sip an IPA — it’s fusion magic. You’re not just eating pizza; you’re experiencing a flavor dialogue between India and Italy.
Final Verdict: This spot isn’t just clever branding — it’s legit. Curry Pizza House x Hidden Tap & Barrel delivers on flavor, creativity, and vibe. Whether you’re a spice lover, a pizza purist, or just someone who appreciates a cold beer with bold food, this place hits the spot.

First off, great location and dining room. We walked in and felt welcomed instantly. Atmosphere is very casual, and the vibe is that of a diner with a bar. Unlike most diners and bars, this place is EMMACULATE. Every surface was as clean as can be...and while it might seem weird, I was personally very impressed with the men's bathroom. I don't think I've ever seen a bathroom that nice and clean in a place like this. Odd thing to point out, I know, but gives you an idea of how well kept this restaurant is.
Service was exceptional, our waitress was extremely nice and helpful, giving fantastic recommendations on the menu and even recommending great leftover reheating tips. Service was swift and prompt; despite the busy hour. Another gentleman checked each table to make sure everything was up to our satisfaction and was extremely gracious when receiving the well deserved praise. This isn't the type of service you ever expect from this type of casual dinery, but very welcomed.
Finally, the food. To preface, I've travelled to all four corners of the US; having all styles of pizza; all styles such as Chicago, Neapolitan, New York, Detroit....and I've eaten at some of the best, most famous pizzerias in the US. So understand that when I say without any exaggeration that this was some of the best pizza I've ever had, I don't say it ignorantly. Never would have expected such a fusion of India Cuisine and Pizza would work SO well together; but not to take away how outstanding the execution was. We had the Lamb Kabob pizza, which was divine. My friend even commented it was one of those meals you wish you could go back in time to experience again for the first time. I really hope I'm not setting the bar too high for some readers, but to me personally, I think it's a very accurate description of how fantastic this meal was.
All that to say; after just one visit, I'm a huge fan of this place; and look forward to eating...
Read moreWe came to eat here for my father's birthday. The restaurant concept is wonderful. So happy there is a pizza place with an Indian fusion. Our waitress was wonderful, but she definitely needs some help. The restaurant was maybe 50% full or more when we went, and she was the only one checking on tables, taking orders, making drinks, etc. Service could definitely be alot better. Because she was the only one checking on all the customers, we had to wait more than usual and we could not order additional things in the time we wanted to. The apps are standard stuff you can get anywhere. I feel like they are priced to which for the amount they give you. We ordered jalapeño poppers and masala fries. The masala fries were good (crinkle fries with seasoning) and the jalapeño poppers were standard, nothing special or different from any other place.
The Pizzas were good. Concepts were great and the ingredients are definitely fresh. Pizzas were cooked well too! We ordered three pizzas. The first was the tandoori pizza. I really liked it, but the chicken was a little lacking on the flavor side. The second pizza was the Indian Gourmet Veggie Pizza. I liked this one as well! Super fresh ingredients. The sauce was a little sweet for me, but good nonetheless the less. Last one was the Shai Paneer Pizza. Again definitely fresh ingredients and the star was the sauce. The paneer was good, but a little dry in my opinion.
For drinks we got the old fashioned with an indian twist, the spicy margarita, the star anise neurons, a virgin Shirley temple (not on menu), the sober mango masala mojito, and a bartender specialty (I dont remember the name). All drinks were delicious and great.
Only shame is I live far from here, but if i am back in the area I am definitely coming back to try...
