The Alpine Trattoria and Bakery is always excellent. I have a friend that I do a meeting with once a month. When it was the first time it was her time to come north ( and the first time we met there) was the last time she would ever consider having a meeting anywhere else. It's not just the excellent food, it's also knowledgeable and attentive servers who are not intrusive. We can take our time, savor our meal, and carry on conversations a about whatever needs to be covered without ever being rushed. But the food really is what brings us back every time. I have not had a less than excellent meal there in any visit for years. and their cakes and pastries are amazing. And they have gluten-free options (which are equally tasty) for not just the meals but also...

Bakery is absolutely amazing! The pastries and pies and cakes are a feast for the palette as well as the eyes. It's fun just to go and window shop. We were not very impressed with the restaurant though. My friend ordered spaghetti with marinara sauce and had something crunchy in it that she had to spit out towards the end of her meal. My sandwich and fries were good, but they weren't that tasty. It actually looked better...
