Yummy Japanese Steak House — Restaurant in Roswell

I was impressed with their score but not impressed with the food! I have enjoyed the same type but better tasting food elsewhere for less cost! I don't know if it was that I caught them just before they closed, but the taste and quality of my food did not match the pricing. I made two simple orders from their over head board that listed the dish and price. I was charged more than what was on the board and after adding vegetables to Scallop Fried Rice and paying extra, there was not an extra amount of vegetables. The dish itself was 3/4 bland rice that I could have cooked myself! Not even the traditional taste of fried rice! It tasted very lazy and thrown together. The only thing Fancy about the Salmon Roll was the price! I didn't know that it should cost so much more to deep fry sushi. Maybe I'm just used to Atlanta prices and this is considered gourmet or exotic Asian food in Alpharetta. I hope that they do better when they're not rushing to close/go home. I was super excited to have a fast,new lunch spot around work! So, per usual I gathered my coworkers to go check it out. Let me start by saying that seating is limited but they do have a nice little patio area, also they don’t have fountain drinks everything is bottled except for water, I was not advised of this so I ended up with water.WORD OF CAUTION! 2 of my coworkers did have their debit cards ran multiple times which was caught while we there, thankfully but still a pain to deal with, so pay attention when paying!! Ok, so the food was ok I had the lunch habachi filet steak it was good but there was definitely more fried rice as the filler, meat portion was more like a child’s plate so for $13 I was expecting a bit more, you also can choose soup or salad as your appetizer, soup was bland and lacked flavor I took one spoon full and tossed the rest. Wish I could give this place negative stars. Ordered chicken teriyaki thru UberEats, got the food and started eating. Within 2 mins of eating, I immediately vomited. I didn’t even get halfway thru the plate of food. I know it was the food from this establishment because it was the only thing I’ve had to eat all day.

Called UberEats first and got no where with them (asked them for refund and to change my rating). Apparently food safety issues are not an item way up on their list of priorities. Was told I wouldn’t get resolution for 24 hrs.

I then called and spoke to the manager at the restaurant and he asked me “had I been sick before eating” as to place the blame with me. No empathy, no apology, no responsibility.
