John Hancock Event Center — Local services in Altamont

This building looks fantastic for 23 years of use. The bleachers are comfortable and surfaces are clean. The concrete floors have some themed etching added, like a brickwork entrance, rider roping a calf, compass rose, and a horse in profile. They have plenty of restrooms and a lot of space for staging materials or participants outside of the interior arena that are still under cover.

Our local fairgrounds staff and crew are working hard to make sure this venue has the best to offer. It hosts a variety of events, from Rodeo to Home Show and everything in between. Our local dog club holds our shows and agility trials there and the staff is always very responsive to our needs in preparing the venue for our events. It is a very good venue, there seemed to be a problem checking in the etix from some phones, I would suggest printing your tix before hand. We Sat in the bleacher sect. so pay the extra to get the party zone tix. Great sound and good view. I would recommend seeing your favorite band there when they...
