There wasn't enough parking for the number of guests and there were no employees directing traffic so cars were just roaming full lots aimlessly. Once inside, there were barely any maps or trash cans. We went to the destruction derby. It cost $26 per person and started 23 minutes late. There were only 3 heats. The first was under 2 minutes, the second was under 5 minutes and the last was under 7 minutes. Despite there being less than 15 minutes of action, the event took 2 hours. The time in between was filled by someone who had terrible and sometimes distasteful jokes. At one point he went into a political rant about covid. Food and drinks were quite expensive. Shaved ice was $7. Elephant ears were $10. Bottled water was $3.

Some nice events, but a horribly mismanaged fairgrounds overcharging everyone from fair goers like you and me to the vendors, so we keep getting fewer and fewer events and exibitors, while their answer is to keep raising prices instead of doing a better management job to attract both more events and more vendors as so few come here to sell or exibit. . Been to our Klamath County fair lately? It's a complete it's an embarrassing joke to this county. They should simply end our fair now. If you found this helpful, please click the Like icon for me. Since this the week of the fair and my new Job is traveling around working on the security team I get to provide my honest input from a variety of places. These fairgrounds seem to be overall fairly clean.. There is a host of various activities located here throughout the year. Everybody here seemed very kind and courteous. The patrons were very happy which for me is always the best part. There is nothing better than a patron or customer walking away pleased because they had a great time. This includes the little kids and families in general. A happy family is a wonderful thing. Obviously everything at this particular fair was definitely focused on good music, food and...
