Michaels — Local services in Klamath Falls

Customer service was wonderful! My purpose for being there was to seek the items available to me and easy options & selections for a sudden unplanned family wedding event with 2 weeks to bring it together and personable for the bride and groom!! Many times before I was able to purchase most items there and had multiple items to choose from! No wasted time to attempt to travel store to store, long hours on-line attempting to see where or who carried even basic needed items to prepare for a wedding! No longer is that available to customers and extremely disappointed yesterday evening!! No invitations.. No announcements... What i did see was bottom line basic of a few items having if lucky??... 2 options to choose from... And VERY generic.. I spent nearly 2 hours in attempting to find items, believing that I wasn't in the right department, section and the time I spent in an attempt to figure out an alternative to the product I desperately needed and creatively substitute it.. Even that wasn't a option.. I've always enjoyed shopping at Michael's.. The options are endless and inspiring with creativity due to what has always been available to me!! Staff were very attentive as needed.. The product available was a flat line 0.0%. I hope that my comments of my experience yesterday is only used to make Michael's aware of need of fixing and resolution.. Not with a motives of criticism and negative social bashing.. I love the selection here you can find just about anything. Just make sure you're ready to smash your little piggy bank into a hundred little pieces because they sure bend you over with their prices. I wouldn't mind so much if their employees were a little nicer but they had the rudest older gal working the Cash register and you could tell she wasn't very happy about the choices she made in her life leading up to the moment that brought her there. She couldn't get us through the line fast enough and was extremely short with us despite our many attempts to make polite small talk. Probably won't be going back in there to shop, might try ordering online where they actually offer any sort of discount, at least be prepared with a coupon before you get up to counter, because she won't help you out unless she's pushing you out that revolving door....

I have been shopping here like crazy lately, utilizing their online platform for purchasing and picking up in store, as well as shopping in store. I have noticed that online is hit or miss as far as what they have in stock or what is available for purchasing online and picking up at this location, my next step will be trying out their delivery for items that can't be picked up at this store. The coupons, discounts and member rewards have been awesome though and it's a great incentive to guarantee you'll be back for more! Everytime I do my in store shopping the employees are always friendly and knowledgeable. I also like how they offer classes for crafting projects and resources available to assist you, or even just suggest some inspiration. Michael's will probably always be my favorite store for hobbies...
