Pine Tree Plaza — Local services in Altoona

Love this neat lil strip mall located just west of Walmart in Altoona. Has quite a few lil shops in there such as Maurice's, Sally's Beauty Supply, a Chinese restaurant, PayLess Shoes, a sporting goods/active wear store, a place similar to a Hallmark store, a place to get your nails done, and a couple other small stores in there that I can't exactly remember atm. Definitely has a variety of different things and is fun to go in and just look around at some of them or just to kill some time if ya got it. I love Payless, Maurice's, and Sally's most of all and could spend days in those three places if they'd let me! Very short lil walk from BBops, Big-O Tire, and Wal-Mart so I'll drop my car off sometimes to get serviced and then go over there and check things out while I'm waiting! I ordered the t bone with grilled shrimp and mushroom $14. I also ordered a chile relleno, that was cold The t'bone I got must have been a petite. It was so small and nothing but fat. For the money I spent on my food I should have left full and satisfied and I was neither full or satisfied. Not many shrimp and neither had flavor. I ordered a steak with fries for my daughter and got steak that you would get in tacos. The meat was dry, overcooked and flavorless. None the less, she ate it because she's 7 and hungry. She left hungry. With my husband's order we spent $50. This was the second time I've been there and got cold flavorless food.
