Tearific — Restaurant in Alvin

Yesterday was my first and last time going to this place, me and my daughter were really excited to try this place. After the bad experience and horrible customer service they provided won't be going again. My daughter ordered 3 drinks about 4:40pm after waiting 20 mins she asked about her order which they told her they were working on them, with no exaggeration I witnessed 5 different customers walk in to that place after her and walk out with their orders your talking about 2, 3, some 4 drinks in hand. After waiting 45 mins for our order I walked in and asked for a refund employee was so rude didn't bother to ask what was the problem and replied with attitude yeah ill give you your refund like she was glad that I was canceling my order. When I mentioned to her that we had been waiting for so long she stated well you came in thru a "rush hour" first of all am sorry I came to your business and inconvenience you second of all the time we came in was not right after any after school release or after 5pm, when my daughter came in there was only 1 customer but your going to tell me it's okay to service 5 customers that came in after her and skip her order. Employee then continues to say that she was overwhelmed and there was only 2 of them working which okay I can understand might be stressful but does not give you the right to be rude to your customers. I am usually not the one to leave bad reviews but this was one of my worst customer service...

For $12.00 dollars, I got a Thai tea and a shredded chicken Vietnamese sandwich. The location is pretty good. Quiet and has a nice view of some grassy fields outside. Interior is wide open and clean.

Overall, tea was sweet and creamy with a good amount of Boba. The Boba was sweet and chewy and didn't clump up. They also didn't put too much ice. Very delicious!

The Vietnamese sandwich wasn't too bad either. The bread was crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. The vegetables were fresh and crunchy. The chicken was not bad either, though not the best topping.

Disappointed that they were out of a lot of food menu items that day. Was looking forward to the popcorn chicken, or maybe a BBQ pork/combination Bamh MI. Also, they didn't have wifi. Would have been a good spot to sit and study.

Overall, good food, but maybe a bad day for other options. Might stop by again in the future to hopefully try other...

I really really wanted to like this little boba shop and over the past year or two now that they've been open I've been there about four times. I've experienced one really rude service one where they were not knowledgeable about any ingredients or alternative milks and then a few other services where their attitude was better but they're definitely not somebody I would call friendly. Please understand I'm sorry and I'm not trying to be rude as I'm in the customer service industry as well. the drinks have just always been mediocre either they're way too sweet or not at all and the last two times I went in there it smelled like sewage. I'm really sorry but I feel like I've given an appropriate number of chances but I'm confident now they deserve this one star review and I don't see how they could make enough revenue...
