I came in from Dallas to visit family and I made a point of stopping in because my local homebrew store is closed. There are a couple other stores within 30-35 miles of me in Dallas, but they're small stores, with a rather pitiful selection compared to one that was right by me. For example, they only had those canned beer kits, which are great for beginnners, but not for more advanced brewers, or winemakers, or meadmakers. Anyway, since i was going to be in town, I checked to see if Amarillo has a homebrew store and I found this place. This store is in a nice sized building with plenty of space. The owner, who was very friendly and personable, had everything that I was looking for (I was looking for mead supplies, but lots of beer ingredients on site as well, including grains). I was really happy with the pricing also, its very fair. Online retailers, like NB are only a good deal if your purchase is above a certain amount of dollars, and I am not a fan of throwing items I don't need into my cart just to avoid the outrageous shipping charges. At Amarillo Brewing Supply, you're going to get a fair price no matter what. Support your local homebrew store. I will definitely be stopping in again anytime I'm back in town. Thank...

A great place to start when you want to brew up some homemade beer, wine, and any other fermented products. I was also told they're planning on starting up their own brewery, so I'm looking...
