Benjamin Donuts & Bakery — Restaurant in Amarillo

The food was wonderful! We live in very, very rural NM so when we have to make a grocery run or something we come to Amarillo. We always try to shop small & try new joints. I am giving two stars because although the breakfast was delicious, the young woman working the drive thru order window was actually hurtful towards us. Like I said, first time here, didn’t know the menu as well as regulars and was treated so poorly for not knowing exactly what the names were of what we wanted. Also, when trying to explain what it was that we wanted but couldn’t remember what the menu called it, the lady rolled her eyes and said “I can’t hear you.”… which is fine. I was wanting something different and ordered breakfast burritos at a donut shop. (I know)...I tried the Korean Bulgogi Burrito and the Combo breakfast Burrito. The Bulgogi was sweat in taste and due to added salsa tasted even sweeter.... don't recommend this. But the combination Bacon Breakfast Burrito was as expected, the salsa once again was a little sweet for my liking. Thier coffee is actually one of the better coffees I have had in a while. For 5 school days I had the pleasure of doing our Donuts with Grown-Ups event at our school. I'll say I did not now what to expect and was freaking out a little (lot) mentally. :) I contacted Benjamin's Donut & Bakery and they were so easy to work with! In those 5 days they provided 130 dozen donuts for our event! They were very professional, beyond kind, and greatful to have been able to help us with our event.
