I came in today to get a dewalt battery operated chainsaw. I watched the project farm reviews on you tube and home depot had the best price on the package with a battery and charger. I went in on a saturday and couldn't find anyone in the department to open the cage so I went to customer service. They paged someone but they never came. After about 10 minutes I asked them for help again. No one came for at least another 5 minutes and another customer came to the same aisle also needing help. They went to customer service and paged them again. I waited about 5 minutes and called the store and asked for a manager. Kevin (maybe Kenny? Sorry.) was there right away and got my saw and even discounted it for the inconvenience even though I never mentioned anything of the sort. There were at least 4 people lounging around with no customers at the desk. I give the 5 star review because the manager did such a great job. I hope he sees this, shares it with the employees and the employees start following his example.

05/08/22 - Overall, my experience at The Home Depot is excellent. The only downside is the limited number of Associates available to assist with questions and in locating items. The staff I interacted with were fairly knowledgeable and quite friendly - which helped locate the items quickly, once the Associate became available. Hopefully, the staffing issues will resolve in the future and I can upgrade this review to 5 stars. VERDICT: FRIENDLY, KNOWLEDGEABLE STAFF AND GOOD PRODUCT SELECTION. RECOMMENDED.

Regret every time I come here. Never seen a Home Depot that closes isles like this store. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen scenes the orange grates up blocking an abandoned isle. And good luck finding anyone in the department to help. Making a commitment to avoid this store. UPDATE: placed an online order for store pickup. Waited over 20 min behind a customer with a return issue. Only 1 person working customer service who had zero sense of urgency. So much for trying to save time. So mismanaged.

I have been buying a lot of Timberline brand composted cow manure from the local Walmart. I needed other things at Home Depot on Soncy in Amarillo, TX so I checked their website for the same product which Home Depot had in stock, and also checked Home Depot's price match policy since it was priced higher. According to the website all was good as they will price match all local competitors. So I go load up 400 pounds on a cart along with some other items and proceed to the garden center register. I showed the cashier the receipts from my recent purchase of the same product at Walmart. The cashier did not know how to do the price match so she called someone for assistance a couple of times. Finally a lady by the name of Gracie who identified herself as the head cashier shows up and starts rummaging through all the sale ads. She then says the product is not on sale and that sale prices are the only prices they match. Then she further rudely said in a loud manner "We don't match prices with Walmart or Amazon". I told her that I had read the price match policy on the website before I came. Then I asked for her name and told her that I would be reporting this issue because I knew it was not right. I called the store later and an assistant manager named Michelle said that yes they do price match Walmart and that she would correct Gracie. COME ON HOME DEPOT...DO BETTER. IF YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE POLICIES EDUCATE YOUR PEOPLE WHO ARE INTERACTING WITH THE PUBLIC CONSTANTLY. And of course, by the time this saga ended there were about ten people stacked up behind me, but they finally did open the second register. Embarrass me, have rude unknowledgeable management representatives, and let many people stack up behind; and a ONE is all you...

I ordered a special order pantry door due to the small size a couple of months ago. When it got to the store, I drove 2 hours from Oklahoma to pick it up. I drove home and that's when I realized that the width was incorrect. I called and talked to a different employee about it and after 25 minutes of being on hold, they tried to make me accept a door that I drove 2 hours and paid over $200 for. After I told them that this was unacceptable they agreed to make it right and order me the correct sized door. I hung up and called back because I had another question. A 3rd different employee answered and I told him about my situation. That is when he informed that he was looking at the new order and that they had ordered the EXACT SAME SIZE DOOR! He worked with me and got it corrected. Thank goodness I called back. Upon arrival to pick up the correct sized door, they charged me a 25% restock fee for their screw up. The same person then goes and gets the new door and brings it out to me. The door is standing straight up with 4 screws securing it to a 4'x4' crate. The employee then makes me aware of this and says that if I want the door separated from the crate then I would have to go to this break room type area and find a drill and a bit and unscrew it myself. After wandering aimlessly in this area, another employee asked if he could help me with. I told him what the deal was and he insisted on taking care of it for me. I will NEVER do business at the Home Depot on Soncy EVER again and I will do everything in my power to let people know about the greedy and unprofessional atmosphere that exists there. This Home Depot is sincerely pathetic. Do yourself a huge favor and...

Been coming here for years with my bf and he’s a contractor we always get products for the customers and go to customer service and they call the customer and charge their card. For some reason today everyone at the pro desk acted like they didn’t know what to do and was extremely rude! The manager Joe was a complete jerk said it wasn’t their policy, which makes no sense cus when we are remodeling customers homes who physically live out of state how do you expect them to physically walk in this store??? So we go to customer service explain to them what happened and they know us cus they are usually doing our sale for the customer so they called the pro desk asking why they acting like that and the lady starts ringing us up as she always has and here comes Joe again telling them not to help us! Absolutely rude and unprofessional so we go to the Georgia location and we always work with them too and we explain to them the lack of service we received and they know about the type of things this location pulls so of course they rang us up got his pro account pulled up, called the customer and had him pay over phone. It’s not that hard y’all just wanted to be rude and waste our time when the customers home is right here and we had to drive to the other location instead. Professionals who’ve been coming to you for years, you don’t take the time to know who your regulars are is a shame! We will be reaching out to corporate to get this manager dealt with for his complete unprofessional and...
