This location is terrible, I will not be returning here. The thing that sets a UNITED apart from a WALMART is their quality, not just in what they serve but in how they serve their customers. The food service area is very chaotic and it seems like no one really knows what they are doing. I went in to ask about a catering order that I intended to place. The first person I talked to was not at all knowledgeable on the types of food they could cater. I asked them if they had booklet or informational pamphlet, she said they did then left to find it. 15 minutes later and she still had not got back to me so I asked another person and explained that someone had already went to grab a pamphlet, they tried to find her but could not. They themselves did not know anything about the catering items, which was fair as they seemed to only work the hot food area. While I was waiting I witnessed an elderly gentleman who had ordered some deli meat to be sliced, however they had sliced it not to his liking and he had them re-slice his meat. Once the transaction was over I overheard several associates mocking and rolling their eyes at the gentleman for being too picky. After witnessing that I decided I no longer wanted to order my catering from this location. I get that customers can be picky however the fault was entirely on the employees for not making sure the customer was satisfied with the way it was being sliced before hand. Read moreSad.. I've shopped at United and used their grocery delivery for over a year. Now, 2x now they have messed up deliveries. 1st time was they delivered someone else's order along with mine. I called and told them so it could be returned. They said they couldn't take it back and to keep the 8 frozen pizzas and other items. Strange but ok. Now I ordered our Thanksgiving dinner items to be delivered at 5 pm, but they had a 3rd party delivery company deliver my groceries to the wrong address. Upon notifying them, Sandra at United/ Skipcart, told me she had to find my order first before she could tell me when to expect my groceries and that she had to talk to upper management and get the groceries returned. An hour an half later, I still have no groceries nor has Sandra called to update me, I have no idea my where order is. I call back at 620pm, I'm told they have to find my order first before they cam do anything and how late can i yake the order, when I call back. So I'm sitting here with family coming in, shortly and no Thanksgivings dinner...my question to United. ..why can't you just put a new order together and deliver it to me, and you find out where your people left the original order. Why has your problem become mine??? Simple solution should have been to put a new order in and deliver it asap. Instead they were happy to refund me, and lose a customer forever. Cons: we are new to this area. I am not sure if it is because we are not locals, or because we still wear masks in public, out of an abundance of caution, but this place was not friendly to us. We have visited this store twice and had the same experience with two different checkers. No eye contact, no greeting. The cashiers just took the cart and started swiping. Nobody asked us if we found everything okay. Nobody asked if we had a membership card. The cashiers did not offer to give store discounts via a generic membership card to entice us to sign up. We had to point blank ask if they have a membership card and how we were supposed to go about getting one. Answer from the cashier was curt... No thanks. Ya'll can keep your customer loyalty. We won't be back in person. We have lived all over the US, and have routinely shopped at Hy-Vee, Smith's, Publix, Wegmans, etc., and this store has the most pitiful customer service we have ever encountered. The selection might be there, but the service just isn't. I would rather pay extra $$ and have someone else shop in that store via Instacart than deal with the cold and lifeless employees...
