So Swede! — Local services in American Fork

I am SO EXCITED about this place!! The reviews talking about a weird smell must’ve been something from awhile ago that got taken care of because it smelt nice and sweet like candy when I went today! There was also a large selection of candy to choose from! So the reviews talking about not having a lot of options must’ve come on a day where they were running low or sold out! I kept an eye on the Instagram and saw that they restocked today so that’s why I went! I’m super happy with what I got and everything was delicious! $13 and change for a pound and a half. Kind of sounds expensive but when you think about the cost of shipping candy from the other side of the world and the cost to keep their shop open and pay employees it makes sense! It’s also a small local business so they have to keep the doors open and the lights on somehow! I will definitely return again and again! The girl working was super sweet too! Great vibes all around and super cute...

This shop is an absolute gem — run by a few brilliant and creative young women who had the guts and vision to bring a little slice of Sweden to American Fork. Swedish candy isn’t your average gas station sugar bomb — it’s unique, flavorful, and sometimes a little surprising… just like all good things in life. That’s the point!

The store is adorable, the vibes are cheerful, and the team behind the counter is always kind and helpful. They’ve put their heart and soul into this place — and it shows. You can tell they actually care about their customers and their product. That alone deserves five stars.

These ladies are killing it and deserve nothing but support, and a big dose of some “grace” while they iron out the kinks of starting a new business.

Really disappointed with the set up of this business. I thought it was a store front that you can go to, but the hours and inventory make it impossible to support them. I understand this is a new business and there will be adjustments. The lines are long and they’ve sold out with a few hours of being open. The only way to figure out if they’re open or aren’t sold out if through Instagram. There’s no phone number or service outside of that. Hopefully it doesn’t turn into another Utah hype quick scheme.
