The team here was awesome in selling a cargo van for work at a fair price. Will consider in the future for all my needs. Thank you so much, I am happy!
UPDATE: I initially left a glowing review five months ago, praising the team for their excellent service in selling me a cargo van for work at a fair price. However, I regret to say that my experience has taken a sharp turn since then, prompting me to downgrade my rating from 5 stars to 1 star.
The primary issue arose from the prolonged delay and utter lack of communication regarding the paperwork for the vehicle. Despite assurances that they would handle the necessary paperwork promptly, it took an astonishing five months for me to finally receive the required documents. During this time, I never received any updates or callbacks regarding the status of my paperwork, leaving me in the dark and increasingly frustrated.
What's more concerning is that I was sold the van without essential documents such as a receipt, registration, or change of ownership. It was explicitly agreed upon that the dealership would take care of these matters within three days of the sale, for which I was quoted approximately $400. However, when I went to ask for an update on my paperwork today, I was shocked to learn that the cost had ballooned to $733. This sudden increase in fees, coupled with the failure to fulfill their initial agreement, is simply unacceptable.
Furthermore, despite changing the car to my name on the spot today, the fact that they didn't do this initially raises suspicion and concern. It's beyond sketchy and leaves one feeling disrespected. One can't help but wonder why such a crucial step was overlooked.
Moreover, the dealership's lack of transparency and failure to communicate effectively further exacerbates the situation. Despite numerous attempts to seek updates and clarification on the status of my paperwork, I was met with silence and indifference. Even when I visited the dealership in person a few months ago, I was given vague assurances with no follow-up.
The finalization of this deal has left a sour taste in my mouth and significantly tarnished my perception of the dealership. It's evident that they lack basic professionalism and customer service skills. If they were unable to fulfill their promises, they should have been transparent about it from the beginning, rather than stringing me along for months. Overall, my experience with this dealership has been deeply disappointing, and I would caution others to approach...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreContacted CarNet, Anaheim, about a vehicle they had posted online. Dealer failed to post the trim of the car. I asked dealer repeatedly for the trim of the car. Dealer's only response "Yes, come in to look at the car." Terrible dealer. Blocked me after I asked 3 times.
Update to CarNet's Response: I was not rude for I asked 3 times what the trim was. You guys are car salesmen arent you? Theres a difference between car "model" and car "trim." You guys listed the model but failed to list trim. I was looking for a specific trim. I asked for trim 3 times and your response all 3 times were "yes, come look at the car." Like what??? You guys are obviously not understanding my question or have lazy responses. Good...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI called them asking about a Rav4 they had for sale online before I came to look at it because I live an hour away. I asked if any mechanical issues and they told me it was perfect. I got there and brought my OBD reader and found out it had an engine issue (code P0171), saw the rear wheel hubs were rusted, it severely needed an oil change after checking oil, the wheels needed to be aligned after a test drive, and once I asked for a Carfax/auto check is when they decided to tell me the 126k miles shown on the dash is wrong because the dash was replaced and it actually has 220k miles. If I didnāt know what I was doing I would have been ripped off. Do your due diligence if you choose to...
