El Pollo Fino — Restaurant in Anaheim

I have such good memories at this location from coming to eat with my family when I was 5 yrs old and again don't ask how old I am lol.

Anyhow, this place in the years we have continued to eat here have not lost their flavors at all. Chicken still has the great flavor as years ago when my dad brought my mom and I here for the first time. Their salsa is fireeeeee and when I say fireeeee I really mean fireeeee! Yes! In flavor and in spicy :,) woooooh it will definitely break some sweat drops on your forehead lol.

Inside the restaurant, I would want to say that it is average size, they have plenty tables and also I did noticed recently they have a couple high tables outside for eating as well.

Parking for the location is small but there is street parking as well and even if you struggle a little for the parking, I guarantee you that once you have a taste of their food you will not regret one bit of it.

If you are wanting to do takeout, I suggest you call to place your order and this way it's convenient for you and them, as it keeps the foot traffic going. If you're in the city of Anaheim and you want to try the best of the best in charbroiled chicken category this will be the place! The Anaheim location is the OG since they do have two locations. I went on Wednesday 06/23 (first time) and I ordered 2 pollos which came with 2 sides of your choice. I ordered 2 macaroni sides and it was so delicious! The order came with tortillas de mano and red salsa. I ordered 4 toreado jalapeños which are $0.50 each. The jalapeños were a decent size and not small. I ordered 3 large (32 OZ) agua frescas of jamaica, horchata and tamarindo and I can honestly say they had an amazing flavor. Not too sweet just perfect. My favorite one was the jamaica. I placed my ordered via phone and once I got there everything was ready! As you can tell, my order was a big one and I went by myself. I told the gentleman at the cash register that I was going to make two trips and he asked one of the other gentlemen to help me. It was very nice of him. Customer service on point! BiG Mistake listening to Foodies on Instagram, Never again!! Drove from Upland to Anaheim over 1 1/2 hour round trip only to be so Disappointed with this place “Pollo Fino”! People YOU must read and believe what you read on these reviews, I can’t stress this enough! I got the whole Chicken dinner with medium rice & refried beans and salsa for $30. None of this food had any flavor, taste, spice or anything Mexican Food about it, just very Bland and Flavorless. The one guy behind the register taking orders was very rude, loud and disrespectful Not friendly at all. The entire lobby, restroom tables and floors were dirty and disgusting.
