Guardian Credit Union — Local services in Andalusia

GCU Story time! Stars of this story, Victoria, Meg, Megan, "employees of the local Andalusia branch" a family member that shall remain nameless for not having permission to use their name, and myself. Nearly three years ago one of my family members needed some financial assistance, and due to a few issues was not able to get consolidation loan at any other financial institution, GCU was willing but, needed a co-signer. As they, at they at the time, offerd credit building loans and i believe they still offer them. GCU seemed to be the best fit. This is where I come in. I had never used GCU before and had only heard about GCU a few times here and there but, I was okay with the bank I used at the time. I made an appointment just to come and see what kind of options my family member and I had. Victoria took the time to sit and talk with me about how to best help my family member. We discussed loan options, interest rates, terms and conditions and I never once felt that I was being rushed or hurried to sign anything or just to leave. After what was probably close to 45 min or so, we came up with a plan of action that best helped to correct the issues. I only had to open an account there by depositing only five dollars and signing the loan paperwork. That part was fast and painless. As a result of the positive outcome for the family members near impossible needs, from any other financial institutions, I stated that if the interest rates I had at the time could be lower, They where already pretty low to begin with. That I would strongly consider bringing more business to them from my other financial institution. Victoria ran some more numbers and discovered they They could in fact get me a lower interest rate. So, considering was no longer an issue. It was a fact. I was taking them all of my banking needs. And they continue to help provide me and all of their current customers with the best available interest rates that I have found locally. And, they are always looking for new customers. In conclusion of this stoy, I will continue doing business at Andalusia GCU. And, I will continue to to advise anyone to visit them before making a final decision on a loan. I have been with Guardian Credit Union in Andalusia for sometime now and I can say I’m very pleased with the way the team is so friendly and professional. I recently needed a checking account with a credit union, & Guardian was recommended. I started over the phone & online with Luis, who explained everything wonderfully. I couldn't immediately make the $100 deposit, but I came in to the andalusia location, & met Megan. She was so, so kind & personable. The lounge was just that, a cute, comfy lounge for it's patrons.
