Walgreens — Local services in Anderson Township

I almost have no complaints about the store in all honesty but I do have to say something about the delivery system. Gotta be honest, Door Dash is not cutting it. I DO get that sometimes stuff will be out, I just don’t understand how something can be “delivered” when it has not arrived and not even get said items period. Maybe they forgot but speaking as a driver myself at one point, I would have made sure I’d let the customer know if they had things in stock or not. It’s not just Walgreens either. I had a similar issue with other stores that use Door Dash to handle delivery’s. I don’t want to blame Walgreens entirely, but I would only use delivery again if I know that ACTUAL Walgreens staff would deliver it themselves or at least have it ready for drivers to pick up because I know they would have the keen eye for detail. Cindy the cashier was extremely rude. She was walking down where the medicine was putting an item back. I was looking for a medical cream. I asked excuse me do you work here. She rolled her eyes and said ya so rude to me. I just told her never mind and just searched for what I needed. If you are that unhappy with working there you should just quit. Why make people feel so uncomfortable in a store that you get paid to work at to make people feel comfortable in. Extremely disrespectful, I will be going to CVS from here on out. Every single visit, the pharmacists, pharmacy employees, and Walgreens staff are kind, attentive, and extremely efficient. I always leave with a smile.

With my most recent trip, my vet didn’t have the meds for my sick hedgehog, so they sent me to Walgreens. The folks at the pharmacy treated me with such compassion it almost made me cry. They took the time to spell our names correctly and were so kind about the whole experience.
