I’ve loved Skyline my whole life, born and raised in Cincinnati. I’ve had three bad experiences with this location the last four months. Every time something is wrong with it to go order or small animal bones in the chili the server and managers and simply offer a five dollar gift card. So for like a bone that could possibly choke you they offer you are a five dollar coupon. recently today having a vehicle that will not fit through the drive-through I went in for a to go order. Placed an order for four different people ultimately did not receive one of the entire orders in the bag when they handed it to me saying here’s her order to go. The main problem I have is the lady working the checkout counter who takes it to go order asked me if I wanted to include a tip when I place the order and I said 20%. I then asked if it gets split amongst the whole staff and she said no it’s only for the person to enter the order so I let it go she was young and it’s the service industry in a pandemic. I then asked if she works for server tips or for a regular wage and see just had a regular wage. Still, I let it go because I wasn’t gonna be rude. But then my order was wrong and the person who asked for a tip who shouldn’t ask for tips as she is only the cashier, reviewed my order and failed to inspect everything and sent me out the door. When I called to discuss this the manager again offered me a five dollar coupon he can mail to me. I pushed and said no I want the entire order removed from my bill and I will go to the other Skyline at Cherry Grove to get what I need for one of my kids. Not be going back to this location simply based on the service. It can’t be that hard to run this restaurant, you have to train the staff and maintain the staff. Everything else of the restaurant is premade at the facility so there’s really no cooking going on inside...

Was working in Cincinnati and my first visit to Skyline Chili was very, very good.

I was greeted upon entering, had a seat at the counter, and was approached for my order in a fine and friendly fashion.

I ordered a Chili 3-way and a soda. My drink was immediately delivered and my food came rapidly afterward.

What a mountain of shredded cheese topped my 3-way! I wasn’t even sure how to eat this huge serving of spaghetti, chili, and cheese. I asked my server and she filled me in on a couple ways locals tackle this mound of food.

It was very tasty! I had never heard of “Greek Chili” so this satisfied my curiosity. There’s a couple distinct flavors I couldn’t quite place in Skyline Chili. Those flavors made the chili flavor unique.

My meal was not only tasty, but filling too. I’m talking in a good way.

All areas of this restaurant were clean and organized.

All the employees were friendly and took care of business.

They have drive through service. Easy access in this predominantly business area and plenty of parking.

From my first impression, Skyline Chili is a good place to eat with excellent service. I’ll...

The staff there might want to be taught how to speak to customers where they’re not so offensive. Went through the drive thru and did not receive part of it, not a big deal, went back through the drive through where at the speaker I was told to just “Look in the bag, everything is in there”, when I replied there was not part of my order I was told to pull up and they’ll take a look. When I got to the window she was incredibly rude and personally looked through the bag and said “Oh, you’re right it’s not in here.” She then picked it up from where it was clearly left on the counter and handed me the bag. No apology, nothing. She was rude and inconsiderate and I’m shocked that this business operates this way. When I got home the food is a joke for the price. Hardly any spaghetti and an order of fries might as well be a handful at most. Incredibly disappointing. Mistakes happen, I’m not upset about that, I’m upset with how rude and dismissive the drive thru girl was. Thank you for reminding me why I continuously go to Cherry...

I was visiting family in Cincinnati and my wife said I had to stop at Skyline Chili. My family has mixed feelings as we are from Baltimore and the chili is thicker. My wife recommended that I get a Cheese Coney and the 4-Way (Chili, spaghetti, onions and cheese). As you can see in the photo, it came stacked with cheese. My brother however said that there should be more cheese, huh? Cheese Coney was good (smaller than a normal hotdog), but the 4-Way was lacking to me. I saw spaghetti, onions and loads of cheese, but the chili was limited. I know this is a more soupy chili, but where was it? It also has a different taste as it seems cinnamon is added. That wasn’t bad and it was good when I got some on the fork. Not really a recommendation for eating here, but it is a Cincy staple, so give it a try yourself. It may be something you will like. I did however get some for home as the wife wanted some. I went to Jungle Jim as they had Skyline Chili, spaghetti, hot sauce, crackers and their greek salad dressing.

Modern, clean establishment, packed with customers. Though, we had no wait to place our order (fast? lucky?). Not being from Cinci, and wondering what this OH chili obsession is all about, and for the sake of science, we had a taste-off between rivals, Skyline and Gold Star chilis. We ordered the same items 'to go' from both places & tasted at the house we were visiting. Skyline has a robust flavor, with a secret spice that hints of nutmeg or clove (VERY subtle), which catapults it into greatness. Both places LOAD whatever you're getting with cheese, so prepare for that added bit of joy in your life.
