Most Judgmental Business I have ever stepped foot in!!! Horrible and quick to jump to judgement on looks. After speaking to a lady on the phone 2 different times about getting some jewerly appraised she told me it's 35.00 an item and 50.00 an hour for several items. I told her I'd be in with around 7 to 10 items, please remember the lady on phone was very nice and helpful. So after I decided what I wanted to take In for written appraisals at 50.00 an hour, I walk in with my items and MONEY TO PAY FOR THE APPRAISALS. But as I go in I walk in with my tattoos and tank top I was not treated the way I expected from the conversation on phone with the lady I told them I wanted to get appraisals and they asked if it was for insurance or what I told them no I'm just trying to get an idea of what might be worth PAYING for a written appraisal and the guy said "well your looking at a hundred or more to get these items appraised" and then went on to tell me how he highly doubted the ring I have had tested at several different places was even real at all.But everyone who tested it showed genuine diamond and 22kt at every place and with my Gemoro electronic tester and diamond tester I got the same result. So my complaint is how was I treated so good on phone but once I walk in with tattoos they jump to there own judgement of me and my items by my appearance and acted like I was some dope head trying to get something for free and that it was highly unlikely someone like me would have genuine jewerly. I had over 3000 dollars in just gold melt value and was trying to get the value of a few items that turned out to be very valuable. I never leave reviews about anything but this place was THE MOST JUDGMENTAL business I have ever stepped foot and I will never recommend them to anyone. I went in with a plan as discussed on PHONE with a very nice lady and when I walked in to PAY FOR SERVICE I was treated completely different as if I was some dope head that stole all the items and was trying to get something from them for free!!! Steve is awesome. I have had a very thin delicate necklace for years and it broke, Steve sent it off to get fixed and I am strong yanked it and broke it again. He took that back to fix and honestly said the charge would be free since it broke in the same spot, but I insisted, because I am strong like I said. He has integrity, I like that. I ordered a new necklace from him (as a back up to my favorite), also had a pearl replaced on a ring and resized. His prices are very fair and the customer service is excellent.

I would like to address the one bad review. I myself have both of my sleeves covered in tattoos and I didn't experience any rudeness at all. In fact they treated me as every jeweler I've ever had. They hang back, allow you to browse or whatever and they come to you only when you call on them for assistance. They were totally polite to me over the phone and in person.

The difference between a professional jeweler and a mall jeweler is the professional one wont ever pounce or try to make a sale, they hang back, they are tactful and provide service when you are ready, not when...
