We are thrilled to have this new Lunds & Byerlys in Apple Valley. It offers several new fun features. Being someone who often cooks with mushrooms, seeing them grow live and buying them so fresh is nice. It’s a real positive to see so many local vendors for the meats, cheeses, and produce departments.

It’s also good to hear about their new refrigeration process, and it’s high efficiency. The store’s layout is both accessible and very spacious. The store opened with the mayor of Apple Valley, Clint Hooppaw, giving a big welcome to L&B. Owner of Lunds & Byerly's, Russell T. Lund, thanked the city, construction crews, council members and others for making this opening day happen after securing the property three years ago.

The store has a wonderful two-story patio dining and a large selection of grab-and-go meals. I talked with the gentleman who manages the new Wok Bar and learned that all this fantastic, yummy food is made on location in their own kitchen. Be sure to try their amazing square doughnuts and stop by and meet the bakery staff! We've relied weekly on L&B's baked goods for all these years and are very excited about the staff, cakes, tortes, cookies, pies, etc., served at this location.

I love their motto of being Minnesota’s family tradition. I’m a 25-year loyal customer because I find that they genuinely are a consumer-focused, full-service grocery store: ample parking, easy-to-locate restrooms, accessible entrances, and exceptional carry out service. I definitely recommend becoming a prime member and enjoying easy pickup.

love this apple valley location lunds Byerly, we were there twice for their hot foods bar lunch, each time was great foods, loved the cashier gal n store manager too, they both deserve good promotions. they have hot foods bar n salads n Chinese dishes n American style or other countries dishes too, love it, forgot to take hot dishes pictures lol, its really nice n clean store to shop, also they serve hot foods bar from 11am to 8pm each day. keep up great work, i love hot steaming fish, its our favor, thx we went to lunds Byerly for dinner tonight, still pretty good foods with steam fish, my favorite, only minus were one of white gal while she put her foods back to hot dish area, i know its too much choose from, but you cant put the foods back once you put foods in your container, its safety precautions, its not safe for others if they are allergic some ingredients, please stop doing this bad habits, thx update, just today 12/21/2024, around 12pm lunch time, the shrimp were spoiled, the cod fish were dry n inside were cold, now my daughter ate the spoiled shrimp n fish, she got food poison, she just kept throwing up n nausea n stomach doesn't feel good sigh, what on earth that foods were spoiled, lundsByerly still put spoil out to let customers eat them, please control your foods quality please, my daughter throwing up couple time already like 4, 5lb waste sigh, im really...

We went at 5 o'clock to take advantage of their food buffet, thinking it wood have the freshest food items. We were disappointed that some items appeared to have been out for a while. The mash potatoes were dried out, and the pork chops and ribs looked as if they were too. I tried a pork chop, and it was so dry that the plastic knife and fork broke. I took the food back to the cashier as it was not edible and was told to go to the deli counter as they are responsible for the buffet. I showed one of the employees my food, and they said they would tell the manager and then they left. No one came to talk to me. I ate the rest of the items I had chosen (salad choices were good). I threw out the rest. I was disappointed as I wouldn't paid if I was at a restaurant and would have hoped someone would follow up with my issue. We shopped for some items after eating and the food I had pointed out still was not replenished (except the potatoes). This was at least 40 minutes later. My husband said the Wok food was mostly good. This is the second time we've tried the food buffet and experienced similar issues and they said to come closer to meal time (which we did) as it was closer to 4:00 the first time.
