Target is ok.
Strangely they built alot more "drive up" spots and I am not sure how often they are used but everytime I am there it is 1-2 cars (maybe) parked over there. Seems odd to build that many spots when it is hardly used but that's just me.
Seems like items are randomly stocked on shelves (often in wrong areas) and I have to double check prices on items. Not sure if they are rushing or what but its frustrating when you see something listed at a reasonable price and come to find its actually more expensive by $5-$10 because it was stocked wrong.
PLEASE CHECK YOUR PRODUCTS FOR EXPIRED ITEMS! This location has been kinda rough lately and I drop $150-$200 on groceries and about 1/4 of the items I have had to toss because they were already over a week old. (Mostly diary and frozen items)
-Cheese -Milk -Iced Coffee -Sour Cream -Yogurt
These are some of the products that can not seem to be stocked "fresh"
COVID policies are not really enforced here, people come in without masks and Security walks right by them and does not say a word about it.
Carts seem to be cleaned often but self check is only cleaned depending on the person "covering" it at the time.
Not sure why staff is pushing target red cards during this time at self check out, kinda of frustrating when they are not practicing social distancing to try and get people to sign up for their debit and credit cards.
Glad they finally have toilet paper in more frequently now. Before it was rare to see any on the shelves.
Cleaning products are a hit or miss (some days there are quite a few on the shelve) but most of the time the cleaning aisles are nearly empty.
Starbucks on site is just awful. (just skip it) go to the Caribou across the street. Tried it a few times and items taste like they have expired product in them or it takes forever to get your drinks.
Nearly every aisle is full of team members stocking items on shelves and blocking part of if not most of the aisle.
Seems like they do not have a overnight crew.
Seems like a large amount of people linger around customer service (if you are missing items, you are simply better off going in instead of using drive up).
Be ready for the humidity in the store during...
Read moreTroy Swanson was very helpful on Black Friday night. At the last minute we had decided to all chip in and buy a TV for my mom as a Christmas gift. My oldest son had seen one for sale at Best Buy. I remember seeing TV's on sale at Target and decided to go out in the cold weather before the storm it. So, my youngest son and I hopped in my little Yoda SUV and out in the winter wonderland of a snow globe we went. We made it! I came rushing into Target at 10:50pm. Troy was the man on deck to help me find the TV I came to buy and bring home. Filled with anticipation, the TV we came for was out of stock. (The reason I chose Target South was because I thought I was doing do diligence and I looked online first and called Burnsville. They weren't sure if they had it in stock. Online said they were low. Target Apple Valley South showed good stock. Did I mention I also needed an iPad and this Target showed in stock.) Now back to Troy...he couldn't find the TV I came for. Every other TV he wanted to offer me was out of stock. He went in the back and come out with the very last one of something other than what we came for. I just told him to give it to me. I couldn't bare him taking this TV to the backroom after he went through all that trouble and now it's past 11:00pm and he has not complained once. He is helping me the same way he has probably helped people all day long. I didn't want to go home empty handed especially after coming out in the snowy weather. He graciously found me a cart and loaded in it. Mind you I'm 4ft 11inches. Me trying to carry a TV out of Target, not so much! Did I mention he found the iPad I was looking for. I even got Apple Care. I really appreciate Troy going above and beyond. I mentioned he should get a raise. He mentioned I could do a survey, and I said, I would LOVE too! Merry Christmas, Troy! Target - you did a great job hiring him. Remember to take care of your employees because they will take care of you. My mom and I recently started our small women owned business. If I had someone like him taking care of my customers I wouldn't want to lose him. Merry Christmas, Troy. Warm wishes,...
Read moreI went Black Friday shopping at this target and it was a huge mistake. In the electronics they had the Black Friday tags on items but when I went to check out in the front the items I got (that we’re apart of the Black Friday sale) were not ringing up the price they displayed. The workers refused to go check in the back so I ended up just putting a few items back due to the price not coming up as the displayed prices. I also bought a Nintendo switch that day and wanted to get a warranty. The employees didn’t know how to do the warranty and asked me to coming back the following day. I went back the next day and had to return the switch and repurchase it. Then the employees at the customer service desk didn’t know how to do the warranty either and gave me the warranty packet and told me to call and ask for a warranty. I told them no because the employees on Black Friday told me to come back the today ( the Friday after Black Friday) to get my problem solved. They opened up the warranty packet and found the barcode to the warranty they scanned it and I finally got my warranty. If the employees on Black Friday would have just opened the warranty packet I wouldn’t of had to come back the following day. I feel like I wasted an extreme amount of my time due to employees. This was one of the most unprofessional experiences I’ve ever had with target. I love target and I won’t let this one experience with this store ruin how I feel about target as a...
