The Apple Valley Punch Pizza is open for the first time this morning, with a strong staff and locals coming to enjoy the event. You can add toppings of your choice from the chalkboard at the ordering station. I was surprised that green peppers were not among the options but happily selected arugula and onions to top off my Margarita pizza. They offer several more exquisite toppings. There is a well-supplied drink station with eight options, one diet. Bottles of olive oil are available to take to your table. Check out the cutlery - heavy-duty knives and forks. You'll never break a plastic fork trying to cut your pizza. Opening staff are efficient and experienced from staffing former Punch Pizza locations when they opened. No problem with baby strollers and wheelchairs as both the patio door and front door are at ground level. There is a lovely room just behind check-in where you can wait for to-go order pickup. There is also an order kiosk if the line is long with a digital sign that displays potential wait times. The lighting and décor are open and fun, offering the spirit of Italy. For a new building, Punch has done a remarkable job of adding the welcoming appeal of aged wood and patterned flooring. As always, their pizza is made in a stone-fired oven - the crust is amazing. They import Water Buffalo mozzarella, which can be added to any pizza for its robust taste or for individuals who wish for a less lactose option, meaning no cow's milk. Their Borgata Pizza was made famous by Meryl Streep when she ordered it as her vegetarian choice. Ample parking. Lovely semi-shaded patio area for outdoor dining. Highly, highly recommended!

As a loyal customer of Punch Pizza, I frequently enjoy dining at their Apple Valley and Eagan locations. The food is consistently delicious, with their Neapolitan-style pizzas being the star of the show. However, on my most recent visit, I was disappointed to discover changes to the beverage selection. Previously, Punch Pizza offered a diverse array of soft drinks, including favorites like Mr Pibb and Vitamin Water. To my dismay, these options have been replaced by an overabundance of Coca-Cola products. Beverage Selection Concerns The current lineup now features two regular Cokes, two Diet Cokes, and two Coke Zeros. While I understand the appeal of offering diet and zero-sugar options, having six variations of essentially the same beverage seems excessive and limits customer choice. I can only speculate that this decision was made to simplify syrup changes, a process that takes mere seconds. However, as a customer, I believe that a more balanced and varied beverage selection enhances the overall dining experience. Conclusion Despite this setback with the drink options, I remain a dedicated fan of Punch Pizza. The quality of their food is undeniable, and the convenient locations in Apple Valley and Eagan keep me coming back.I sincerely hope that management will reconsider the beverage lineup and bring back some of the beloved choices that customers previously enjoyed. A few simple changes would go a long way in elevating the already fantastic Punch Pizza experience..

05/30/25 - lowering my rating as this is the third time in a row that they’ve burnt my pizza. For the price, I’m not OK with having so much of the crust blackened. Plus, it leaves an acrid taste in the mouth and is an unpleasant experience. I used to love Punch but I don’t want to come back if this becomes routine. Please take more care when cooking the pizzas. —————————————————————- Came here over the weekend with my family. Ordered several Toscano pizzas as they are our favorite. I get a modified Toscano as I sub the sausage for pepperoni but I absolutely love this combination; the roasted red bell peppers give a little hint of sweetness and are a nice contrast to the pepper flakes. Plus, basil which is always good on pizza. Pizzas came out good but was a little disappointed with the service. Several tables were dirty and we wanted to sit at a booth. Asked if someone could wipe one down for us and while they did send an employee out, I felt her attitude was not very obliging. She came off rude and was not very friendly once she brought our food to us which was off putting. Aside from that, we still had a good time.
