This place is popular, and for good reason: you’ll get good food at more than fair prices, accompanied by great service. We have eaten at this Texas roadhouse location half a dozen times, and the service has always been exemplary.

Chances are good that you’ll be greeted by a packed waiting area. I think the shortest wait we’ve ever had there is 20 minutes. (We’ve visited at both lunch and dinner times.) It’s not that they’re not turning over the large dining area quickly — the staff are hustling to be able to serve as many customers as possible. The servers have always been cheerful and exceptionally helpful. In my opinion, they’re the best thing about the place.

The food is always tasty. We’ve sampled many things across the menu from ribs to chili to chicken to steak. Everything is very well prepared and tasty. Knock your socks off amazing? Not quite, but for the prices, it’s an excellent value.

At my most recent visit, I ordered the Roadkill, which my server said, was very popular. I inquired what a chop steak was. She gave me a description that sounded good, when it arrived it became obvious that she had never eaten it before. You learn something every day: a chop steak is a hamburger patty. This particular hamburger patty… er, chop steak… was smothered in delicious onions and mushrooms and cheese with some tasty sides. Needless to say, I was not disappointed with the flavors, but did find it humorous when I pointed it out to the waitress. We both had a good laugh. I’ll probably order it again. My dining companions got ribs which were good (when they say “fall off the bone”, they ain’t kidding), and a chicken sandwich which was very good.

For our taste, the atmosphere leaves something to be desired. The decor is cool and comfortable, but it is loud almost to the point of distressing. Some people may like that, but conversation is not easy. Your dinner may be interrupted by the most anemic line dance you’ve ever seen. The poor weight staff have to trudge to the center of the restaurant and go through the motions with some regularity as they crank up the music to nearly unbearable levels. (Closed circuit message to management: this adds next to nothing for the dining experience, and your weight staff obviously gets no joy out of it. It feels like it might’ve been cool… 25 years ago. Please don’t continue to force this practice down anyone’s throat.)

Overall, we always walk away from our time at this restaurant satisfied with our meal and pleased by...

I don't like loud places, so only tried for the first time Texas Roadhouse 9 months ago going when it would usually be more quieter not like at night or Weekends.

Have been blessed to have Madison 3 out 4 times there, management and rest of staff is awesome, as well as the food.

I've ate steak at Manny's and find the steak here of similar if not better quality and it's much more affordable.

I'm a regular at Outback in IGH and get treated exceptionally there, too, I wish Texas Roadhouse had a better loyalty program and did stuff like Outback does where we've gotten free desserts for Anniversaries and Birthdays vs a coupon for something on the anniversary of joining their club, as I mentioned we were there for my bf birthday and got a small sundae, when a week later at Outback without a coupon (but again so I'm told I'm a valued regular ) got a free $11 dessert.

As well as they don't honor AARP like Outback does but again I think their business is booming and they have patrons of all ages, including my 50 ish self and 60ish bf.

But will continue to frequent this store, the food and the staff is too good not to come a several times a year vs 2x a month at Outback, although they are so popular I get why they don't need a better loyalty club to get people there, we came at an off time right when they opened on a Thursday 2 weeks ago and store was packed shortly after we arrived when they opened.

One heads up, they changed the days of the Early Bird , so if it's a priority for someone, check with store the new Early Bird hours, still was worth every penny spent there given how delicious again food was and the exceptional service.

Lastly, our 2nd visit like 6 months ago there was a small problem the manager went out of his way to make things right.

Problems can happen it's what a restaurant does to make things right as well as all the other amazing things about Texas Roadhouse and again I'm not a fan of noise or loud places, so again will frequent at hopefully less busy times when it's quieter, it's too good not to be on my restaurant rotation and as a picky but polite customer, there's only less than a 1/2 dozen restaurants that are my favorite, at Texas Roadhouse is...

Well where do I start, we had tried to make a reservation 2 hours in advanced and was told that we can’t to call back in an hours, so we did. Made the reservation at 6:30 and was told we are all good.

Arrived at the time and was told our tablet was not ready so we waited. When it came time to seat use the table was filthy and they gave a us a table that had the most unstable top then I have seen at a Texas road house. While waiting for them to get silverware and drinks cause they didn’t have it ready, ants started to walk on the table and myself. The manager kept trying to deflect and convince us it’s the biggest table they had, we finally got moved after strong convincing. We ordered our drinks and food and waitied.

Food arrive roughly 15-20.min and we started to dig in when not jam out 5 min and one of our friends found a metal shaving in there food and we stopped and asked for the check and leave. At that point while waiting one of the members of our party went to the bathroom and it was gross and disgusting with towels over the floor and stuff on the toilets that we had to leave to use targets.

I didn’t even touch my second drink and was still charged for it so I asked for it to be removed. The manager kept asking if there was anything else we needed besides to go bags and such but not once how to help us personally.

I have been to Texas Roadhouse at another location many times but this was closer and will not be back again.

The only good thing that came from this was our server Hannah as she was very helpful and understanding. They need more people like her.

EDIT: My edit did not save for whatever reason, I was reached out by the owner and the issues were brought to...

Memorial Day meal made easy! We got on the wait list (their online version didnt seem to work so my wife called in and was told 30-45 min) and when we arrived and replied to their text we received a message a moment later saying our table was ready #winning Our party of 6 was served by Morgan (who did a fantastic job for her saying this was her first waiting job) - very attentive, along with all the rest of the staff who didnt hesitate to remove empty dishes from the table. We ordered the combo platter (with fried pickles, potato skins, and boneless buffalo bites) and had our fill of their legandary roll. Along with our appetizer we got L.I.T: long island ice teas - and they didnt pour them light 😆 3 of us ordered the stapes steaks in varying cuts of 8oz & 16oz sirloins plus a 16oz ribeye (only complain was the amount of fat on the ribeye), all cooked to a perfect medium rare. But steak wasnt the only main meal, as our middle son ordered the BBQ chicken and our old sons girlfriend order the salmon, who also got a caesar salad that had a healthy amount of dressing (but only 2 croutons 😆) I couldn't leave out talking about their amazing sides: the loaded baked potatoes, loaded mashed potatoes, the regular and loaded mac & cheese (hint: loaded is only bacon), steak fries, nice & steamed veggies, and rice - all satisfying pallets of different tastes. As we ended the meal, enjoyed 2x rounds of the staff line dancing to "I Play Chicken With The Train", and tantalized our sweet tooth with the Big Brownie, we left very satisfied with our meal, the staff, and this awesome new meal option in Apple Valley

I am beyond disappointed with my recent experience at the Texas Roadhouse in Apple Valley. As frequent patrons who dine at Texas Roadhouse locations nationwide, and specifically visit this location 3-5 times a month, I am utterly appalled by the lack of care and customer service we received. We placed a to-go order that was poorly packed, resulting in three trays of meat juice spilling all over my car seats and shoes. When I reached into the backseat to get the bags out of my car, the bottom of the bag was soaking wet and dripping. The bag immediately fell apart, and the food spilled everywhere. I called and spoke with a manager who took down my information, promised a refund of $177, and assured me that the property owner would contact me. Neither of these promises were fulfilled. This makes me incredibly sad since Texas Roadhouse is our family favorite, but I could never, in good conscience, give them my money again after being treated so poorly. Not only am I out $177 for a meal of salads, sides, and bread, but I also have to cover the cost of detailing my car (since they don't just clean one seat) and replace a pair of sandals ruined by meat juice. This all happened because some idiot decided to poorly pack my order. The owner of this place is clearly a special kind of coward, hiding behind their inept staff and refusing to take responsibility for their mistakes. Texas Roadhouse, you have lost loyal customers for life.
