This establishment employs some of the most awful, judgemental, employees out of every store I have ever been too. I am a 5'2" native american female, with faded green dye in my blonde hair. I have gone to this store dressed up with full makeup, dressed down with no makeup, i have gone as far as keeping my wallet in my hand as I walk around, and tonight i did the most and walked around with $200 cash in my hand, visible for everyone to see, and no matter what I am followed and harassed relentlessly by the staff. This time I don't think I was in the store for more than ten minutes before I had a shadowing staff asking me if I need help every five fkn seconds. I was polite as usual and declined their help, as I am a professional makeup artist who can definitely make my way around a cosmetics store without a babysitter. Nevermind the fact that most of the women that work here have no idea what they're talking about since I've asked specific questions to get an idea of how well they could advise me, and they failed. I feel terrible for the women who have asked for help and hope they were able to figure it out themselves considering the employees advice is garbage. I feel so bad for any WOC or anyone with an edgier style who shops here because the shameless profiling must make those people feel bad about themselves, being judged by part time staff who can hardly tell the difference between appropriate understones and skin types. I told myself the last time I was harassed and literally followed at the hip by an overbearing employee that I would never shop there again but I must have forgot until tonight just why I stick to making online orders. I was unaware of the magical experience that awaited me. I have been wanting to purchase my favorite fragrance by Chanel Coco mademoiselle For three years. Today I was able to indulge and make it mine I’m happy to say! I was in the area of the fragrances and a beautiful young lady appeared, and I asked her “Miss can you help me?” She turned all the attention toward me, and with her open beautiful face said “Yes, of course how can I help you?” I had no doubt at that point she would do everything in her power to help me. This beautiful associates name was Alina. She allowed me to share my whole story about wanting this fragrance for so long, and she related with me so deeply about it, and about the beauty of fragrance, and its effect on our lives. Alina is an exceptional human being and trust me if I’m reporting this, there are many, many, many others that you don’t hear from. She introduced me to the Coco mademoiselle intense, and I was overwhelmed and so grateful she did as I love it even more than the original. Read moreI am (was) a returning customer. I had the rudest experience with Christian as my clerk. From the very start of the interaction she came off unprofessional. I told her that I had a return and tried being helpful by showing her my barcode. She said “how about the product and then the phone number, let’s start with that”. Then she said “do you know when you purchased it?” And I told her I wasn’t sure that I thought they were able to find it in there system regardless of the details. She responded, “you purchased here 4 times in one month, that’s a lot that I have to go through”. (So rude). Fast forward, she was trying to give me the refund on the lesser item of the receipt even after I told her that it’s not the product I am returning today. She said “I changed it, do you want me to start over?” I said yes because this shows “pencil” for $16 and I am returning a pen that’s worth $30. She was persistently trying to refund me $16 and tried making me feel like I was the one inconveniencing her. The entire interaction was very unprofessional and unwelcoming. I am so disappointed with this new member. I have always had a great experience here but to avoid this rude customer service I will go else where.
