UPDATE:Have been here a few times since our last review and it has been a lot better. Dealing with the hostesses has been a completely different experience. All of the ones we have dealt with have been welcoming and inviting.
Still have issues with food coming out wrong, so that is my reason for 4 stars. However, when the food does arrive it is ALWAYS good.
Danielle and Zeke are amazing and we love having either of them waiting on us when we come. This most recent time we had Karlyn and she made us feel like valued guests.
Kudos to management and corporate for being active in addressing issues and correcting them.
We decided to come during their new happy hour and we got 12 wings for $4.50. Not a bad deal getting 50% off. They have select domestic beers for $2.50. Red and white wine for $3.50. Select margaritas and sangria for $4.50 and 50% off select appetizers.
I'll recommend that you give this place a shot because despite all of their issues the food is very good.
OLD REVIEW: We stopped coming here after some really bad service. Bad attitudes by servers and the hostess. When you tell the manager about it they seem to not care and want to argue with you and make excuses. Not a good way to run a businesss
I'm still not entirely why, but we decided to give it another try. Although we still have to put up with the occasionally unfriendly hostesses, that's fine because we only deal with them for a minute. We found a server we like and have made it a point to ask for her. We have also found another server that we like as well and will ask for him when we eat there.
Back to the hostess I quickly mentioned earlier-- Stephanie is one of the most unfriendly hostesses I have ever come across. It's like talking to a wall. The only emotion she appears to show is an irritated one. When we walked in she said in a monotone voice, "How many?" No Hello, Welcome to Red Robin. NOTHING! When I have complained to a manager on several occasions they make excuses for her, so she must be a management favorite. One manager even told me, "We're trying to work on that." SERIOUSLY!? How do you keep employing someone like that?
Very sad that they would want someone like that the first and last thing you see when you come to eat here.
The one saving grace is that the food is almost always good. Some of the better burgers in the industry. They have amazing steak fries that are bottomless. They also have a full bar although I have never got anything from there.
Honestly this place is hit and miss so I leave it up to you whether you want to eat...
Read moreWe went to Red Robin to celebrate a birthday. After being seated we waited about 10 minutes before our server came over to ask about drinks. We had 4 people in our party and we ordered a stack of onion rings, 1 birthday burger, medium rare, 1 salad and 1 other meal. Another table came in after we'd been there approximately 45 minutes with 6 in their party. While waiting for our food their table had their food order taken AND received their food ahead of us (except for our onion rings). When we asked our server why their food came first she said she would check on it. The manager came out and asked us what the problem was with our food. We said nothing because we never received it. He went to check on it and came back with our food. While passing out the food one of the onion rings fell off the plate. He picked it up with his fingers and put it back on the plate. Eewww! Also, the burger was well done, not medium rare as requested. Meanwhile, we heard the servers sing happy birthday 3 times to other customers and even though the server knew we were there for a birthday as well no one sang to our table. Right before we left she said thanks for your patience and happy birthday. Very disappointed...
Read moreI'm not sure what's going on with this restaurant. In the past, we really enjoyed eating here. The only complaint was how noisy it was sometimes inside. However, the last few visits it just seems to get worse and worse. And I'm not sure why. On our last visit, the staff was friendly but not very attentive. The appetizer came out hot but the rest of our food was only warm. My wife and I almost left before we turned in our order because of how discusting the ladie's restroom was. My wife tells me that the toilet paper rolls in each stall were laying on the ground. There are no liners for the seats in the stalls. They were however sitting on the counter. The trash cans were overflowing. That includes the ones in the stalls to dispose of tampons and maxi-pads. Also the faucet wouldn't turn off. And if the restrooms are this bad, I can only imagine what the kitchen must be like. Hopefully things improve here soon. In the meantime for anyone wanting to eat at red Robin, go to the one inside the Victor Valley Mall. That restaurant always seems to be clean and the service is...
