Chalice Collectibles — Local services in Arcadia

Chalice is one of the worst companies. I’ve had three experiences with them and two of them were bad. Both purchases that were bad took over two weeks to ship. Each time I contacted support to inquire about why shipment was so delayed they only answered with “we will get to it.” “We’re sorry for the delay.” But they never actually took proactive measures. One email even read “We’re sorry your item has not shipped today. We will have an update for you today.” I received that email early morning on a Friday and the whole day nothing happened. I understand support is not at fault, but at the same time if you tell me you’ll have an answer for me that day I expect an answer. This particular email was me inquiring about an item I purchased that hadn’t been shipped for THREE weeks. I asked them to cancel after that. This company needs to figure out their priorities. Support needs to work better with their shipping management and the shipping department needs a change. You don’t leave a paying custom hanging about for two to three weeks. Ordered from chalice collectibles on the 4th of December, and paid for 2 day shipping. Around the 10th of December I inquired with customer service to find out why my order hadn’t shipped yet. A few days later on the 14th I received an email stating there was a glitch in the system and my shipping label was never created. On the 14th i received an email that my order is “on the way” and the shipping information was provided. It is now the evening of the 20th of December, and my order still has not shipped. The current status is “label has been created on 14th of December.” To credit Chalice collectibles, they did refund me $16 for shipping delays. At the end of the day, my order is supposed to be a Christmas present that was ordered with 2 day shipping at the beginning of December, and here we are almost at the end of December and my items have yet to be shipped. They variety of pops was great as for the associates and price not so great. Pops over priced. So i went in to do some pop shopping and liked their selection until i started asking for prices. I asked for a price on the coraline with the cat in the glass cabinet. The male associate told my son 70 i was like ok we'll get it went on to do some more shopping, grabbed a chase popple and 2 joker sodas. In the 10 min of continuing to shop we we're ready to check out. The same associate told my son let me check the price again on the coraline pop to make sure it didnt go up. Like its really going to go up in price in 10 min. He then tells my son 80$ im like naw we're gonna pass. We look up the value on funko.com its only 40$. Then we leave n go to the car n open our sodas. They were not sealed like they come from funko they were rewrapped in a think cheaper shrink wrap n not sealed right.
