Arcadia County Park — Attraction in Arcadia

The scale of this park is very big, next to Santa Anita Park. Located on Huntington Dr. & Santa Anita Ave. As a Cyclist I've made this my rest stop. This park has it all , plenty of activities here for everyone young & old. Plenty of tennis courts with evening lights that have fencing on all courts, a large swimming pool, baseball fields with seatings,lights & great playing field. Large trees with excellent shade throughout this beautiful park .this park is great for children, guests, family or even for a date. Near the San Gabriel Valley Mountains & Shopping centers along Huntington Dr. This park is a must for those who like to get out of the house for walks, to jog, walks with their 🐕 dogs. Plenty of Picnic tables throughout this well manicured park for bbq's, picnics, family gathering ,ect. I truly admire this park for everything it has to offer for the community. Nice park with all the amenities: 2 Pools, 12 tennis courts, 3 lighted baseball diamonds (1 is a regulation baseball stadium), many picnic pavilions with many more picnic benches throughout park, senior center with 6 lawn Bocci/bowling greens. Walking paths that surround park for walking (dogs welcome), skateboarding, bicycling, skating... And plenty of free parking from Santa Anita Ave and Huntington Drive (Eastbound across from Arcadia hospital/civic center) total of 4 separate parking lots. Plus Arcadia Golfcourse adjacent to park. Only reason for 4 stars are that the bathrooms could be a lot cleaner and there is not hot water or soap to wash hands! Seriously...LA County is so draconian in the whole subject of Covid-19, yet apparently soap isn't necessary or hot water to clean hands after using facilities?!...

This is my all-time favorite park throughout Los Angeles and it's surrounding counties. The peace, tranquility, park cleanliness, greenery, freshness of air quality, recreational activity, etc., are absolutely unparalleled when compared to any other parks folks, and being in an environment of sorts is an absolute inspiration to one's soul, among other things. I strongly recommend this park for social gatherings, family picnics, 👪 or reunions, or what have you. My friends and I drive approximately 25 miles one way, and yes that means, we pass up the renowned Grffith Park, along the way.😊👌 happy recreational leisure boys and girls of all age groups...
