This place is horrible just like the few others I have went into wanting to sale some items. This place was very rude and unprofessional and seemed to be in the mind frame they are better then you. That's probably why I took in about 75 items and the little girl told us it would be about an hour so I took some items to kids resale shop and dropped them off and it was about 25 minutes Shelby was already texting stating the buy was ready. I took in over 15 items that was nike, brand new items with tags from westlake, urban stone, and many t-shirts for both men and women that was polo, American eagle, gap, old navy, hard rock, and others and only a few items was taken. Half of the box was untouched and never looked at because those clothes was still folded as I had folded them. The clothes are expected to be washed or cleaned folded and not wrinkled so it's have ready, I have no problem with that but I do have problem with the clothes that was looked at was just thrown into the box and not even an attempt was made to fold the clothes that they went through. Don't ask me to do something that you aren't going to at least half way take the time to fold them back. It's so disrespectful to go into a place like this and be treated this way. If you don't want to look at my stuff it's better to just be honest and say so from the jump, instead of taking my items having me wait in the heat for you to pretend to do your job and see not only that over half my stuff was still folded and not even looked at and be told that the stuff was not in date had stains or just not something you can sale in your store. I'm taking the very same items to another location and see if they are interested in my stuff. I don't deal with places like this because a child is left to decide on what they like or dislike or make their choice of they even feel like going through your stuff or not. I almost think of you take in a box that they see may take a few minutes longer to look at they just don't look at your stuff which for me I have to travel 30 minutes to get to any atos closet so a few items at a time isn't a benefit for me I need make sure it's worth my time and effort to drive and sit for over an hour Plato's Closet you really need better people in your stores. This isn't the first one I went into and was treated this way. Is this how the people who represent you should treat the people who actually put money in...
Read moreI can see that my review was removed because I spoke the truth. So I’m going to rephrase it this time, but this time I will screenshot. I took some items there today…not really expecting a lot of cash but, more than what they offered. I was told they picked items based on what young adults are wearing or styles that are trending at the time. Most of my items had tags on them the items they chose to keep was a black patent leather top and pants set and a fake leather skirt they offer me nine dollars and some change?? Would have felt better if my other items were at least were looked at…not sure how their choosing method is but I can say this place does not check all your items. I had things they hadn’t even opened to look at in my bag, if they did I want to know what it was that they saw. What I saw on the rack were not styles for young adults or styles that are trending (not describing the details of the condition of the items that’s probably what got my comment removed earlier) I feel they pick and choose what they want and who they want to help, again just my opinion, just giving my review I gave two stars because the young ladies in the facility were respectful. I drove here because I made a phone call and talk to a young lady because I was telling her about their location in Cedar Hill, about them showing me a list of the things they only are taking, She went on telling me about it was under new ownership and they do things differently in Cedar Hill than they do in Arlington She also told me she couldn’t tell me over the phone about my items because she couldn’t see them but stated they have a list also but they’re all seasonal and they collect clothes for all year, and I had a good chance they would take my items, I wouldn’t have made the trip all the way over there if I was just going to be treated with discrimination, yep!! I said it! they don’t cater to blacks!!! Unless you’re a long time familiar customer or just want to give away your things...
Read moreI don’t think some people understand what they do and what they’re about they cater to high school college age range they’re not a designer resell store there a resale store for college to high school age range so they have to buy product that college and high school age range would be able to afford and want and of course they are not going to give you exactly what you paid for for item because it is a resell store they have to make a profit of what they buy from you so they take 70% off the retail price they give you 40 to 30% of that they have to make a profit and some people just don’t understand that and there are some brands they just cannot take because it is too high in like Louis Vuitton Prada Gucci so on high school college age range can’t afford that people wanna get mad when they pass on things and say it’s out of style and no longer sells well and then they say half the store is out of style why do you think they’re not taking those items anymore ? because they took those last season when they were in style and they are no longer in style theyre not going to continue to take things that don’t sell well and styles and trends change all the time so please don’t get mad at what they don’t take and what their prices are because you clearly don’t know anything about what they actually do and don’t know anything about their job so please stop acting like it. AND BRING YOU ITEAMS IN THE WAY THEY ASK WE ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC AND THEY ARE GOING THROUGH USED CLOTHING RISKING THEIR HEALTH AND SOME PEOPLE WANT TO BE SELFISH ANS BITTER they were very nice and kind and they helped me out a lot keep up...
