I have been to this location twice and never again. The first time I went, the inventory was all wrong and told me they had plenty of copies of a DVD and when I got there you can’t find it because they are all tossed onto a boxed shelf with no order or organization so you have to dig to even find anything. The guy refused to even go to the back to check. Today’s trip, once again told me they had copies of a movie, were not on that sorry excuse for a shelf, I asked an employee and he did tell me he was new so I was patient and he got someone to help him check in the back and they did which was very helpful. NONE of the registers were open even though this location has more employees on staff than customers and forces you to use the germ ridden self check out kiosks that are useless as well especially when you have an issue with a poorly advertised sale and gift card issues. I went to the back to return something I no longer wanted and then used the 2 self check outs in the back of the store since there was no line. My gift card balances seemed off so I called for help. I waited for a good 10 minutes after hitting the other help button on the kiosk next to it and still nobody came. An employee was casually walking by and finally came to help me out and suggested to go to Guest Services and check with them. They were able to help me but I could have saved 15 minutes if you had an employee at a register who could have helped me out in the first place. Hope you...
Read moreConvenient location, however I have had nothing but issues with the order and pick up in store feature. Because of the local bag fee, you are auto charged a bag fee when you order online that you cannot opt out of. If you bring your own bags, the staff who retrieve the items for you are supposed to indicate that the customer brought their own bags, which reverses the fee. This makes sense, however I have had multiple experiences where I tell the staff I brought my own bags and to reverse the fee, only to see once the charge is finalized that the fee has never been reversed. I am aware this is a small amount of money, however, it is not right to be charged for something you did not use over and over again. There also seems to be no way to remediate this issue on Target’s website, and the individuals in the store do not care about helping you. This location is also very small and does not carry a lot of common items you would expect Target to have. They also seem to be chronically understaffed and have closed the back entrance check out. At one point I needed someone to unlock a cage for the item I was buying, and it took about 15-20 minutes for employees to find the person who had the key. It’s a shame because this could be a great location, but I have had few good...
Read moreThey got a lotta nerve to charge the prices that they do and then pay low starting wages. There is never a cashier available and always a line for self checkout. Obviously there are not enough employees on any given day to staff the registers. The hiring sign has been out front for months on end. Consider paying people more instead of passing the labor on to the consumer. $16 an hour (their advertised wage) may seem like a lot in VA where the minimum wage is $7.25 but we know that workers have been advocating for the $15 min wage for so long that due to inflation, the real livable wage in this area is closer to $25 an hour. It is no surprise Target can’t stay regularly staffed at this wage. They just don’t want to pay people better wages and they pass the labor “shortage” on to...
