Worst service ever at a Hot Shots location. We went this last Friday at 8:30 for a friend's going away party. It took 10 minutes for our table to be greeted. Our servers name was Raven. When we were finally greeted, we weren't even offered a drink. We told her we would like menus and a drink and before we could even order drinks, she walked away and returned 5 minutes later with menus. She put the menus down and immediately walked away, again, leaving us without drinks. She returned 5 minutes later and asked, "Are you ready to order?" We put in drink and food orders. About 5 minutes into waiting for our drinks, we decided we would like shots. We waved Raven down and she looked at us and walked away. She did not even acknowledge that she saw us and would be right over. She returned and we said we were wanting to get shots. She said should would go get our drinks first and walked away. She returned with our drinks and the food right behind it. (Food was delicious as always).
Throughout the night, Raven would only come over to cleans plates and drinks. I remember only twice her asking if we were ok or needed anything. Any other time, we had to wave her down. At one point, we were out of drinks and we look for her and she is sitting at a table on her phone. She comes over and we ask what time they close and she tells us in an hour, which would be 1AM. We order more drinks and as we're waiting, the bouncer begins putting up chairs around the bar/restaurant. This is an hour before closing time! I feel like it was very rude and inconsiderate to the customers and makes them feel like they need to leave. We all understand the employees would like to leave when on time but as a previous waitress in the food industry, we were trained to never put up chairs/vacuum/or do "closing" duties around customers.
There were very few people in the bar that evening due to the weather conditions. You would think you would give this group of people excellent attention since the tips will probably we scarce. This was not the case with Raven. She had asked us 2-3 times if we were ready for our check before last call had even been called. She did not seem to care about her customers or her job. If they wanted to close up early, we would've been completely ok with that. But they needed to tell us this.
Every time I go to a Hot Shots, I have always received great service with no issues. This was the first time I have ever been dissatisfied...
Read moreMe and my friend went in on a friday night around 10:00 pm. We sit down its not busy for a friday. We sit at the bar cause i was a bit hungry we figured we grab drinks bartenders make eye contact with us and dont say a word. Ok may they are busy waitng and waiting we see the blonde bartender talking to a guy and the burnette getting drinks for others 10-15 mins go but no one ask if we want anything there are empty chairs around us at the bar. They tell me kitchen is about to close which i would of order sooner if some one would of served me. I asked if we can get buffalo chicken dip and some drinks. get our drinks. 30 mins go by and i ask. Her about the food she says the buzzer will go off when its done (buffalo chicken dip people) no sooner i say something i get my food. Then when im done eatting i wanted another drink. Not one of them asked if i need something was waitimg cause the blonde was chatting with a group of guys in the corner and only seem to be serving them. I asked for a to go thing.the waitress forgot about getting me one then i asked for a drink i watch multiple people just walk up to the bar ask for a drink and they got it.i was waiting another 20 mins and finally yelled to her are you still getting my drink she said yes i asked for a BLUE Hawwaiin this drink was green ..... it was straight orange juice. My first drink was blue so she knows to make one at this point she was just showing poor bartending skills cause she knew i was upset. The blonde would not speak to us she would make eye contact numerous times but walk away and got back to the group of guys And never served or once asked us what we needed she was more focus on those group of guys. This was def terribl service i normally leave a good tip. No not the way we were treated there. Ill def be watching my bank statements to make sure they dont add tips. I heard a waitress was adding tips on peoples cards there. You give crappy service you get crappy tips. They need better training or new hire there i asked who owned it and she said idk .... really you work for a place and dont know who owns it ? If you go on yelp there are so many reviews with the same or very related issue the owner needs to do some management and train them or get rid of...
Read moreThe food was delicious and our drinks were cold, but the service was horrible.
We were looking for a fun atmosphere for a lunch date and pool. When we arrived there were a few people playing pool and sitting at the bar. We walked past the bar and shot a few hoops on the basketball machine and no one ever greeted us. No warm welcoming hello or any acknowledgement that we entered the establishment. We finally went and sat at the end of the bar and finally the bartender, Kayleigh acknowledged us asking if we needed something. So we asked for a menu and ordered drinks. Obviously, we did need something, why else would we sit down?
We then went to the pool tables to play and after a whole she came back to confirm what we ordered. It took a while for our meal to come out and my guess is there was a delay putting it in because she had to reask what we ordered. She appeared preoccupied with her phone being both on calls and texting. The other waitress working was concerned about going outside to take pictures.
Finally we got our food, which was delicious, but not once were we offered napkins or asked if we needed anything else. The other waitress saw the empty beer mug and asked if we ordered another beer to which we said no, but never offered to get another drink. We asked for our check and because Kayliegh the bartender was our original server we had to wait an additional 5-10 minutes to get our bill because the other waitress wasn't able to get it. When Kayliegh finally walked over with our bill she informed us we would have to walk over to the bar to pay. That's fine we did. There was no hospitality in our interaction with her. No questions if our visit was well or how our food was. I decided to leave a .63 cent tip, not because we are cheap, but so maybe she can acknowledge her service was horrible.
Perhaps if I was able to contact on her phone via text or call she would have been more responsive because it was evident that who ever she was on the phone with was getting and keeping her attention.
We will likely not return to...
