Shyamal & Bhumika — Local services in Artesia

I have been following Shyamal & Bhumika’s work and designs for a very long time. I absolutely love their style and embroideries on silk. So when I started looking for my bridal lehenga and found this flagship store close to where I live there was no doubt that I was going to be a Shyamal & Bhumika bride. I got in touch with Olivia and Anjana and visited their beautiful store in Artesia. They were very courteous, responsive and accommodating as I tried multiple outfits and asked questions.Since I wanted a specific shade of Red, they got color swatches mailed in from India to my home address which made choosing the right shade super easy.

Looking at their quality of work and styles my husband couldn’t resist buying his Sherwani from them. We also customized his outfit to compliment mine. S&B is well known for their designs and quality of work but what is really great about them is their effective communication with clients and the team in India. Loved loved loved working with Olivia and Anjana!! They make such a great team!! They patiently helped me try on multiple lehengas until I found the perfect one for my reception in June 2021! Despite all the delays in everything coming from India with COIVD they made sure I got my outfit on time, and all minor alterations were taken care of locally. They were also very conscious and careful with COVID protocols and limited how many people were in the show room at one time. I was SO SO happy with my reception lehenga!!! It turned out perfectly!!!! The service with Olivia and Anjana was wonderful, and they complement each other so well and gave great tips and suggestions. I bought an outfit from S+B at the Artesia location for my Sangeet, and they were more than helpful with all of my requests. They sent the dress out added additional work on it that we requested, as well as altered and re-altered my blouse for me free of charge! The team was very communicative and got everything to me in a timely manner - can’t reccomend S+B Artesia enough for all of your wedding needs. When my outfit arrived at a time I was extremely busy with travel, they held my outfit for multiple weeks until I was back in town to come try it on. When this has happened at different brands, they have definitely given me a hard time, but the S+B team was extremely patient with me. Anjana and her team did an amazing job of making sure every clients need is met - I see it in how they approached every customer in the store....
