To all those considering this company:

This company is horrendous from the owner to the staff. I had the displeasure of witnessing unprofessional and unjust treatment of the patients. I addressed my concerns with staff and administration about profanity usage towards patients and unprofessionally amongst the management and staff like all of the razors being "missing" or stolen by staff. As well as bullying and cursing at patients, playing favoritism from staff. Upon being dismissed and my claims of mistreatment "investigated" emails and voicemail correspondence and evidence has been misrepresented by Jennifer Conrad and curator of Garden Care Homes. To my great surprise-- as I was called and apologized to, thanked for my bravery to change this behavior, and that I was correct in what I said; was re-offered a position at another location. Upon further injustices enforced by this company they refuse to pay even though legal work documents were filed by them and deny any of this communication or interaction even though I have voicemail evidence. It is such a disservice for a facility we place our loves ones in think they can mistreat their patients and then their staff when they try to improve within the company. I am nervous for the patients as they have untrained staff that are not legally allowed to attend these patients such as myself and was later informed by other healthcare authorities what they are doing is illegal. I fully intend to submit my case to the state. I will not allow this company to bully their patients and bully without pay and get away with it. I can only hope with this review you really reconsider trusting your loves ones to this company. Any information to file my claim is...

I am so grateful to the Gardens Care Columbine facility and staff for helping shepherd my father through cancer and dementia, almost to the very end. They do truly treat each resident as if they were family and their facility as if it was the resident’s home. Moreover, they treat the resident’s loved-ones as family as well.

I spent a lot of time there and there was never a time when I was not greeted by name, that if I needed something and the staff was not directly helping a resident, they did not drop what they were doing and help. Many times the staff would ask how I was doing and they always would listen to whatever frustration or challenge I was going through.

The facility was completely renovated and is beautiful with a large main room and dining room, the rooms are large and have at least one window. There is an enclosed and secure yard with flowers and a wide path for residents.

The staff met the challenges of my father’s behavior with kindness, patience and sympathy and developed a real relationship with him. They really did lift a good part of the burden of this from my shoulders and I will be forever...

My family n myself were looking for a home to place my mother. Who was Recently Diagnosed with dementia which we had no idea what the disease in tailed. After speaking with one of the staff member named crystal. My family couldn’t be any more thankful to this young that for not only being so kind,warm,and loving but for also educating our family on the diagnosis. As my mothers current health issues as had a big impact on us. We couldn’t be anymore thankful to this young lady. This home is so well kept. IT’S by FAR one of cleanest places we have viewed.All the staff is so engaged with their residents. Every staff member was very kind and welcoming. It truly felt like a home.
