Enstrom Candies Arvada — Restaurant in Arvada

I’ve driven by this place so many times and never stopped in even thou I know they make yummy candies. It’s just that it’s located in an industrial office park that doesn’t really inspire me to stop. Late last week I remembered 2 things: 1. that Mother’s Day was on Sunday and 2. that I was going to the mountains with no opportunities for shopping and was planning ti get home right before our celebration. So I headed to the Arvada Enstrom’s. This turned out to be a great choice- inside the store is pretty cute Anne they had a nice selection of treats. I was able to pick out a nice selection of candy as well as cards. I also bought a single scoop of ice cream to share with my son. I was pleasantly surprised that in addition to being so delicious (that part was expected) it wasn’t overly expensive and it wasn’t a chintzy scoop. We’ll definitely be back in...

The store has a beautiful selection of goodies. I saw that they personalized their chocolate eggs for Easter and excited to have the special treat for my son. One of the women working that day said she could write the names on the eggs for me. I gave her the 2 names and she was confused when I said Sofie with an F not a PH. I didn’t think anything of it and continued to shop. When I finally saw the eggs she wrote the names on, I was so disappointed. When I explained why I was disappointed with how messy they looked, she just stared at me confused. She quickly became annoyed that I wanted the names rewritten. 15 minutes later she finished the ONE egg and it was still a mess. I decided to just not ask for the name to be rewritten as it was clear she was not seeing the issue with the writing I will be going back to the Cherry Creek store...

I stopped into Enstrom Candies recently (and go into this store a lot) and while the shop itself is nice and the treats looked great, my experience at the counter wasn’t the best, my coffee was wrong and kept getting asked what I wanted. Has no clue what’s going on. The taller older lady helping me was overly talkative and kept asking personal questions that felt unnecessary and uncomfortable. I came in just wanting to grab some candy, coffee and go, but instead felt stuck in a conversation for almost 30 minutes, I didn’t really want to have.

The products are worth it, but the service could definitely use some improvement—more focus on the customer’s needs and be timely and less on prying into...
