My mother and I went for lunch 4/3/24, music way too loud, hardly anyone there, took forever, no attentiveness. Server was super rude, she just left us there with only chips and salsa and drinks even though she had only two tables of two. By the time she took our order, and we received food, we were full on chips and salsa. She never checked on us after our food came. The guacamole on my plate was bad (old) even though the guacamole with the chips was fresh. What? The chips tasted like the fry oil needed to be changed. My poor mother had a smothered burrito and the green chile tasted old and bland, she did not even want to box her leftovers. The tacos I ordered were pretty good. The server sat in the corner with her phone gossiping with another server and staring out the window for 20 minutes solid. The whole time we were ready for the check and when she got another table of two, she ran to get their chips and salsa. By the time she took their order and walked away from our table, I went and asked another server for a box and the check, that server was really nice. When our waitress brought the check, she slammed the plates around when gathering them from the table, and then sneered at my mother when she told her to have a good day. I do not know what her problem was, but it was unacceptable. Worst service, I do not...
Read moreI've been eating here happily for over two years... and will never eat here again.
THE SERVICE WAS AWFUL The waiters and hostesses weren't wearing their masks over their noses. I stood for twenty minutes waiting for my order; and when it became clear that my food had been sitting, the two hostesses bickered and threw insults at each other in spanish.
EVERYTHING IN THE ORDER WAS WRONG AND COLD My chimichanga was a soggy un-fried burrito. The Mole Enchilada was flat and grey. The beans were old and crusted, and lacked all flavor. They forgot the Green Chili.
NON-COVID PREPARED The resturant was FULL... to the brim... FULL. Every chair, every seat, and on a fifteen minute waiting list. So the lobby was full as well. Customers were not being held to the mask policy.
I'm a large tipper as a rule, now that small businesses are suffering, I'm being even more generous. I tipped a full 10$ on a 30$ order this time even with the bad service. And then we got home, and after three bites the whole order went in the garbage. Save, of course, for the guacamole, which was excellent as always.
I'm very very disappointed, and fairly thoroughly offended. If you don't want to get sick... if you want food that was prepared with love by a family who cares... eat somewhere else. This was an absolute travesty. And the owner...
Read moreBad everything!!! We come here with our family when were in town, have been for some time. Not too sure what's changed but by far the worst experience we've ever had at a restaurant. First off we found rubber band in our salsa and the waiter had the nerve to try and shift blame on us. Brought out the cilantro and said it was a accident. No empathy what so ever. Then a long piece of blond hair in my daughters meat. This time the manager came out and yet again tried to hint that it was one of our hairs and that all the cooks had short hair. His arrogance was pathetic. Don't know how he could even be a manager, waiter mentality at best. Could not believe how poor the service was and if I could rate it lower I would. Then the icing on the cake came later that evening when my son was so sick we almost had to take him to the emergency room. 3-4 bowel movements and severe pain lead to a urgent care visit. He was OK and the only thing they could suggest was food poisoning. He had no other symptoms and was fine the following day. I will never return and have to find somewhere better to go when coming back home... Our godmother complained to the health department but to this day no apology from...
