The best jewelery shop we have ever used in the last 10 years. My husband has been slowly replacing all the jewels in my grandma's ring that she gifted me as a teen, since he used that same ring to propose to me with. So it has been in and out of different shops as we have grown older and saved more money to change the jewels into diamonds. And we've been extremely pleased the few times we have used Jewelfire Diamonds. The first time we came in, I just needed the ring resized as my finger had grown from getting back into rock climbing. The process was fast and easy. The second time was to finally replace the main jewel and again to resize the ring. Grant made us very comfortable and was extremely knowledgeable when picking the type and size of diamond. We never felt pressure to buy the most expensive or largest diamond. But left feeling like we had made a great decision. The replacement was much faster than any shop we had used in the past. And after getting the ring back and realizing the ring resizing I chose was just a size too big, they fixed it within 30 minutes of notifying them of the mistake I had made with no extra charge. The most recent time big purchase, my husband wanted me to customize a wedding band, something I had wanted the most since getting married. I showed Grant an example of a ring that was kind of what I wanted, but with a few alterations so that it would fit snug with my grandma's ring. He drew up a picture, had me come back in, to see the wax and then again to solder the rings together. It turned out even better than what I had imagined and from start to finish, they were able to get it all put together in 6 days. I am in love with it! Such a dream. Update: Came in to make an adjustment and they did it so quickly. Reset a lose diamond and recentered the band that has adjusted slightly off center. 5 minutes, in and out, no charge! Thank you so much for all of your great work! Highly highly recommend...
Read moreI really wanted to love this place — they’ve got some very pretty jewelry. Unfortunately, I’ve had a terrible experience.
I brought them a ring that was passed down to me from my grandmother after one of the diamonds fell out. They suggested I get the entire ring re-pronged to avoid losing any more (with white gold rather than the platinum of the original prongs). When I got the ring back, the replacement diamond was noticeably smaller than the rest (pic below) and the new prongs were catching on everything.
I went back to the store to discuss the issue. They agreed that the diamond wasn’t a great fit and said they’d search for a replacement, which was both frustrating and encouraging — if the diamond was too small, why would they put it in the ring at all? Either way, I appreciated that they were willing to fix the problem.
After I’d heard nothing for 3 weeks, I called to follow up. They told me the diamond was a very unique size, and because of that, they were still searching and would get back to me the following week. That was 3 weeks ago now.
I lost another diamond from the ring two days ago. I don’t think I’m particularly hard on rings. I’ve worn this one every day for almost 20 years without issue, so I can’t imagine why a 6-week-old prong would fall off. The original ones lasted 60 years!
What a waste of $1500, not to mention what I’ll have to pay someone else to redo the prongs and find TWO matching diamonds. Would definitely avoid this place for...
Read moreI had not been inside a jewelry store in over 20 years because I’m not a huge jewelry person and the few pieces I do wear, I’ve been wearing forever. Recently I had a need to have a ring sized and also replace a pendant I lost. Not knowing where to go, I first went to one of the big name chains. They held the door for me and that seemed nice but then the guy was so unfriendly and almost cold toward me. He seemed annoyed that I asked to have my ring sized and quoted me a price that was so utterly ridiculous that I thought of going old school and wrapping a band aid around the band to make it stay on. I thanked him and left. Then I asked on a local social media app who people would recommend for what I was looking for. The overwhelming majority said to go to Jewelfire and they were so right! As soon I I walked in there, I was welcomed with a smile and people who were happy to help. They sized my ring for a very reasonable price that was more than $100 less than the big chain quoted me! And they had the exact pendant I wanted, also at a reasonable price. This place is exactly what you’re looking for if you appreciate great service and fair prices! And it’s always good to support...
