I recently purchased some items here and was checking out right as they were closing. I bought a bunch of cat food, cat litter, and cat treats. Once I got home shortly after that, I realized that I was curiously missing all of the cat treats I purchased. When I was checking out I remember the cashier mentioning something about cat treats specifically, he just noticed I was buying a bunch. But then I realize I must have not grabbed those or they weren't put up in an area I would notice them after checking out or something? There was only one checkout lane open at the time & there was at least 1 person checking out after me. I called the store the next day right as they opened to have them go check around the register for my kitty's treats. She came back & said they weren't there. I don't know what happened to them and I know it doesn't seem like much to some people but my kitty LOVES his cat treats and gets depressed and starts breaking stuff if he doesn't have them. Plus they aren't cheap to me! So it really put me out. I can't think of another scenario other than the treats were accidentally left behind for one reason or another at the store, and because we were trying to rush out of there at closing time to get out of their hair we didn't realize we were missing the cat treats until after we got home & it really just sucks that they wouldn't like review the security footage to see what actually happened to the items I bought as a courtesy and/or made it right for me as I didn't get all of the items I purchased and I'm on a really tight budget right now. Otherwise I would just let it go but I felt the need to warn others who might be tight on money that this is a possibility when you shop...
Read moreThis is our neighborhood, "go to" target, but I had an experience last week that I have to share -- a lady working the customer service desk, and claimed to be a manager (short/Asian lady) decided to give me a hard time about returning a product. At this target and any other target AND seeing that I am a REDCARD customer and probably spend more than $3000 at Targets on-line and in-stores, I have never had an issue. Their customer service is generally always amazing and I love the one older lady who always works the customer service desk. But this lady, wow, it is like she had some vendetta against me and decided to make me an example even though she has one job (one job), and I am a Veteran there in UNIFORM, mind you. I was shocked. It threw me for a loop that she was being difficult and denied me a refund. Honestly, NEVER happened before, let alone to someone serving their country who told the truth about why we were returning the product and what happened with it. I am not saying that to boost my post, just was so shocking to me at the time.
Anyway, happy ending is that my return was accomplished with perfect ease and grace at a different Target (as expected), but seriously, this employee should be fired. Because to her customer service is not goal #1 but to protect some corporate bottom line, and to discriminate against some people, and not others. I wish I were less angrier so I could have wrote down this horrible employee's name, but I will not be shopping here any more. What a disgrace... oh and she's new because I have not seen her at my "neighborhood" target before. What a shame because I liked this Target, but clearly it is under...
Read moreSo Ive only had two experiences with this store but both have been negative. I always try to find pokemon cards from a retailer because theyre usually less expensive. My first experience I was looking for pokemon cards at this store and there weren't any in their little card section by their registers but there was one of those two tier baskets that the employees use to carry items they're stocking and in that basket there were a few packs of pokemon cards so I just reached in and grabbed the packs. Some lady by guest services about 20feet away yells at me asking me what I'm looking for. Her tone and the fact she yelled at me from a distance loud enough that other people turned to see what was happening made it feel as if she was scolding me. I didn't get anything after that point and left.
My second experience was via phone. I'm only giving them two stars instead of one because most target stores don't answer at all. But same deal I'm calling searching for pokemon cards and the lady who answered tells me she doesn't know if they do, she can't currently go check and no one else can go check. And I ask to verify I heard right that's there's nobody in the whole store who could take one minute to check and she confirms that's what she said. I mean that is just plain bad lazy service. I'm not near their store where I can just pop by and check what they got like she proceeded to tell me to do. Hence calling to check.
From my experiences I have gathered they really could care less about customer service...
