If i could leave a negative star review i could I was roped into getting their service plan to help discount a repair, I was told it was going to take 20 mins got a call saying it was going to be longer because it was not the screen and a different part and they would order it and my switch would be ready the next day. Ok cool come back the next day after work thinking i'm going to get my switch back get told by the thug wannabe at the front counter that the tech had the day off and i should not just show up out of nowhere expecting to have my stuff fixed and I should have called. confused and a little peeved i left. called back the next day after work to be told the tech had a heart attack and would be in the next day and have my repair done. Im thinking sure have a heart attack and go to work the next day. call back again the next day im told the tech is going to a funeral and I will get a call back when they come back at this point we are now 5 days in to what i was told was going to be a 20 min repair to one that would be ready the next day,
I give it over the weekend and to the fallowing Wednesday still no info i call back still waiting on the part and they will order another one and rush it to the store, i wait again through the weekend no updates call Tuesday for an update was told the tech took the day off and they would give my info to the manager for a call back still no call back go through another weekend with no info or updates call on Monday talked to the tech said he order the part and over nighted so we could complete the repair it is now Thursday still no info or updates worse customer serves in my life and the lies are whats killing me and will never trust trust this compony with any tech again clearly they are a scam and rip off
I will be canceling my repair plan with them as soon as this posts
Update:
after posting this review i was called end of day and all of a sudden my device was unrepairable, seems a little sus seeing when i called early in the day they were still waiting on parts... ether way i have an answer now and will be getting my device tomorrow. the 877 number that they left in the response to this review leads to a security firm that has no connection to ubreakifix or to the asurion group
over all do not trust...
Read moreWas sent here as an Asurion/Samsung warranty location. Scheduling was fairly easy, and one of the techs even called me the morning before my appointment to ask me about the issues I was having with my Galaxy Buds Pro. I couldn't talk to them at the time they called, since I was at the salon getting my hair dyed. I called them back after my appt, and the person I spoke to said I could drop them off at any time, and that the problem sounded pretty normal for these Buds, and that they'd probably have to have them replaced, and that it would take about 5 to 7 day most likely.
I get there to drop them off, and have to wait quite a while. The first tech I talked to was nice, and apologized that it was taking so long, but that they seemed to be having computer issues. The second tech, Miguel, was pretty unpleasant. No personality, was very short with me... He was even off putting about a guy coming in with a printer. Said, "I hope he's not donating/recycling that, because we don't take donations/recycles. Anyway, I told the first tech (I don't remember his name sadly) that I could come back if need be, since the computers were being slow. He told me that was fine, that I just needed to sign something anyway. I told him that they could call me if they wanted, let me know when the papers were ready to sign.
I went back to sign the papers, not hearing anything from them, and as I walked up to the counter, I could hear Miguel speaking from the back, asking if I was the one with the earbuds. I told him I was as he walked into view, and he told me, very condescendingly, that they weren't taking Samsung warranty devices right now, and that I'd need to call Samsung. So rude, just pushed my Buds box back at me and all but dismissed me. He wasted my time, and didn't even have the courtesy to call/text me to let me know that they were having issues with Samsung warranties, and that they were sorry they couldn't help me.
I was excited about coming back to this repair shop if I needed any repairs in the future, thinking I found a good tech repair shop. I now know I will NEVER return to this location, and probably never even consider going to another uBreakiFix. Not if this is how they treat...
Read moreI brought my IPhone in for a screen. The young man who checked me in was pleasant, friendly and explained the process.
I returned 1.5 hrs later and it was ready. That is when it started to go awry.
There was a backup question…all was fine. A lot of clicking/unclicking of find my phone… ok.
Nothing was working. Marvin, the DM, was on the phone with the associate. She tried to explain everything to Marvin as best she could without his presence.
Several attempts passed and nothing. My password was correct, etc. I stated I just should have gotten a replacement phone. Marvin stated, “you can and we will back it out.”. That statement made me nervous. I don’t understand screen replacement and anything needing to be “ backed out”.
I got frustrated and saw another customer walk towards the door and I needed to take a moment to gather thoughts. Also, to see if I could get my phone to work.
As I turned away from the desk with the phone in my hand….it was snatched out of my hand by the associate. I asked for my phone and she stated that “ you heard him I have to back it out”.
I expressed that “you never snatch anything from a customer’s hand”. She, after several attempts to get my phone back, gave it to me.
The other customer walked in and I sat on the bench. I was trying to see if I could figure it out. It popped up in an Arabic lettering.
I couldn’t use it if I tried. I absolutely was upset and left the store. After I left I did the update and it clearly works as I am using my phone to leave a review.
In this day we all keep important information on our phones and I should have been thoughtful and more cautious to hand my phone to anyone, even for repair.
I understand customer service. I don’t believe “the customer is always right”. In this case, I feel I can honestly say, it was a miserable experience and for the associate, as well.
After leaving I called several times to speak to the associate and let them know it works, but there was no answer.
Run the claim. My phone works. I hope nothing is compromised.
If you have questions….you have all my information.
Then at around 8pm I received a phone call from the Arvada police department regarding this...
