THIS IS NO LONGER ROSE GARDEN. New owner, new management, new recipes. It’s beyond shady to take over a successful and well loved restaurant, profit off the name and the change everything the loyal customers loved about it. I’ve been going here for decades and NEVER AGAIN.

RUINED my favorite Chinese restaurant I’ve loved since I was a kid. The new recipes are gross and a dime a dozen for every Chinese place you’ve ever been to. Dry over cooked chicken that’s disgustingly sweet with no flavor, over cooked rice, egg drop soup don’t as good and the portions are cut in half. The quality and serving sizes has seriously gone down while the prices have gone up.

This new owner has no honor and pride to take someone else’s restaurant they’ve built up and created and take the name and the profits and change everything else without ever considering what the loyal customers like or want. Shame on the new owner. Get a new name so people don’t expect the same restaurant they’ve loved for years.

I can’t tell you how disappointed I am. This place is going to lose customers hand over fist and they deserve it.

Previous review (was 5 stars) I've been going to Rose Garden for years now, in my opinion they have the best Chinese cuisine in the denver-metro area! The service is always polite and prompt. Delivery times are usual for Chinese (usually 40 min) and the food is amazing, always high quality. I've never been able to find egg drop soup half as good, their sweet and sour sauce and chicken isn't too sweet. I highly recommend their sesame seed chicken and their fried rice is delicious. In all the years of dining here in person and ordering delivery I've only had one mistake with an order, and that was accidentally giving us sticky rice instead of fried, they fixed the order, apologized and gave us a coupon for next time.

You must try Rose Garden if you like Chinese food, you won't want to eat...

I went for lunch but ordered dinner because I love the house special double pan fried noodles, that has a nest of crunchy thin noodles under a plate of beef, BBQ pork chunks, shrimp, and beef and assorted vegetables like bok choy, baby corns, mushrooms and carrots. Personally I think the carrots and pork pieces are too big. I will ask for none next time. It comes with a brown sauce but I asked for a white sauce.It is $13.95. Love it! If you let it sit for any length of time the noodles get soft with the soaking of the sauce. I like the crispy noodles so if I get it to go, I ask them to pack the noodles separately so they stay crunchy. My mom and I were able to share it. My husband got the lunch special of beef and tomatoes. It also had bell peppers and a brown sauce. He liked it. When you go for lunch you get a spring roll they call an egg roll, a cream cheese won ton, and bowl of soup, your choice and a choice of white or fried rice. His was $9.50. My mom ordered a shrimp appetizer of rings of fried shrimp served with sweet and sour sauce, it came with 6. Yumm ! And an order of egg rolls which had 3. I don't know how much it was. I like this place because for lunch you have a choice of a lot of specials and you get egg roll and won ton, you don't have to pick between them like some other restaurants. Favorite...

Have always loved this place. Took a friend here for lunch and she ordered a shrimp dish. When she tried it, she instantly noticed that there was something wrong with the shrimp. We told the young waitress who immediately started arguing with her, asking us what was wrong. My friend told her that she did not know was the matter with it but that she has eaten a lot of shrimp, and there was definitely something wrong with the shrimp in her food. The waitress started raising her voice and got angry with my friend. After a few minutes of this, the girl slammed her hands on the table, grabbed the dish of food, but also took my friends empty plate and her silverware so that she was not able to share my food either. I asked for a box, and the young girl brought over the bill with only one fortune cookie, totally ignoring my friend. This girl has no business working in the service industry. I have never had such terrible service anywhere and was very embarrassed that I had praised this restaurant to someone, and had taken them there to show them how good it was, and then we were treated so awfully there.
