The customer service is absolutely excellent. I give this compliment to the store in Asbury Park. I have not been to any other Brielle Cyclery locations. But back to Asbury Park Cyclery. David shows great leadership skills, salesmanship skills and has some great policies. I could tell, they are just an earshot away from that phone, but I wasn’t listening. What I gathered from my entire minimal service job, that David and the staff there at Asbury Cyclery treat everyone equal! Yes! That is sorely missing today as “I’m so busy, sorry” is the typical answer. But not here! Taking into account while certainly they are very busy during the warmer months. David makes it clear, once again, that he believes in EQUAL customer service and brings that to the table, along with some humor thrown in! Thank you all, really. I had provided APC 5 stars when I bought my bike last April. We actually bought 3 bikes and spent a good amount on accessories. For sales, they were solid. Service however, different story. I had asked them to look over my bike to make sure it was running smoothly and didn’t need any repairs. I was to get a free tuneup. They were backed up for days, but they were willing to look it over for me. My bike got a clean bill of health, as per Jared. Slapped a service sticker and I picked it up. Not even a month later, I needed to replace my brake pads and gear chain. $100 repair at a REAL Trek store. I haven’t ridden it much, so how I needed new parts was disappointing. I feel like I was rushed out so they could appease me. I’m very disappointed and discouraged with this location and would suggest others to take their business elsewhere. I was a repeat customer and they disregarded me. Gave them over $2000 in sales last year. I would have preferred they told me my bike needed repairs but they didn’t have time to fit me in instead...

I unexpectedly found the perfect fitness bike thanks to the exceptional service at Asbury Park Cyclery. I'd been on the lookout for a deal on a Trek model for a while, but wasn't sure about the sizing and fit. I popped in just to browse the inventory, not expecting much since there was only 15 mins to closing. Dave Katz and the other associates went above and beyond, patiently letting me try out a few bikes and offering expert recommendations based on my needs. I ended up finding exactly what I needed with their guidance. Even though it was late, they never rushed me, and completed the full safety check, tire and final inspection before sending me off. It's hard enough to find a shop that will assist me to find what I'm looking for, and even rarer to receive exceptional, trustworthy, and courteous service.
