Crown Fried Chicken and Pizza — Restaurant in Asbury Park

so I go here for a fair amount, I am a local and this is as local as it gets. The chicken is one of the best in asbury. Thats fact. However, what my friends and I experienced yesterday and just shocking. First they hired this young boy- I think hes related to the older gentleman whos there all the time. The boy has a nasty attitude and is very fresh. Told my friends and I that " its just chicken its not that serious". Um Im giving you my money ? What do you mean? Anyways we just ignored his lil snarky comment. And We got our food which came with 6 rolls. And we noticed him laugh and giggle. Which is whatever. We finally get home and check the food and the rolls are blue like its clearly going bad. Thank god we look before we eat. But people make mistakes even tho he clearly looked before he put it in the bag. So we call them like hey please be careful the rolls you gave were rotting and again the BOY answered and got rude with us and hung up. I dont know where his arrogance comes from or why hes trying to single handily give his familys business a bad name if they are related but he was bugging. SO just be aware check your food before you leave and watch out for the young boy he likes to talk out his neck taking orders. - this happened...

I wish I went to dominos for the regular cheese pie instead of looking for a halal pizza. We drove 25 mins from belmar just for the halal menu. We ordered a chicken pizza pie , wings and drinks. To our surprise we had the worst pizza ever. I am sorry to say this. Maybe you guys are famous for sandwiches and wings but if anyone tries the pizza they will throw up. No salt on pizza. They use the same chicken from gyro platter and they put it on your pizza. It looked dreadful. They didnt even cook both at the same time. They literally made the pizza first and spread the gyro chicken on top of it. I wish i had taken picture. 3 of us couldn’t even finish the whole pizza. We had to throw away 3 pieces. If I could give them zero stars I would. I ordered 10 pieces of hot wings with fries and an Italian cheese burger. I got home and attempted to eat the wings, they were so salty, bitter and un-eatable. I called the place to see if they can replace or refund me and the guy on the phone told me the 'wings come like' and that I should the company who sold it to them. I have never heard of the customer calling 'the company ', and why should I, I didn't buy food from them I bought from crown's chicken. I am from out of state and I will never EVER eat from there again. The WORST customer service, they know it and don't care! WORST PLACE TO BUY FOOD! DO NOT GIVE THEM...
