Danny Clinch Photography at The Transparent Clinch Gallery — Attraction in Asbury Park

I’m from Germany and today I fulfilled a long-awaited dream. I was in Asbury Park following in the footsteps of Bruce Springsteen. I also wanted to visit The Transparent Clinch Gallery and was disappointed to find that it was closed. But a wonderful person (if I googled correctly, it was Tina) opened the door for us anyway and invited us to look around the gallery. What a wonderful place, what special photos by Danny Clinch!!! She was so friendly and accommodating and told us something about the pictures. Unfortunately my English is too bad and I was too shy to ask more. I didn't want to bother you any longer, otherwise I would have liked to spend more time there. At the end she even took photos of us in front of a large photo of Bruce. I am very happy about the experience and it was an absolute highlight for me. Thank you very much for that and best wishes to Tina (I really hope the name is right) and the entire team. As you walk in, the layout and artistic direction of the gallery will delight your eyes before you even see the iconic imagery of one of the most talented and iconic photographer of the last 30+ years.

Who hasn’t been photographed by Danny? There aren’t many contemporary artist who have not. You have Pearl Jam, The Boss, Radiohead, Tupac, Jay Z, Metallica, and list goes on.

Most importantly, the staff and Danny are truly hospitable and genuine. Tina, who curates the art and furniture at the gallery is a wonderful ambassador and great personality.

This is the place to go if you are any type of music fan or just a fan of amazing photography . Very immersive , I am a bit jaded to museums or galleries or even the rock and roll hall of fame . This is as real and authentic as it gets. A must see in Asbury and worth the trip. And if you’re a Bruce fanatic like me it’s heaven .
