So in the mist of this pandemic, I decided to get my first tattoo. I discovered Barrett Fisher through a mutual friend who got 2 done by him within the past few months. I absolutely loved his work and booked an appointment with him about 2 months to my October appointment. Upon my arrival, they lock the tattoo shop so no walks just show due to Covid so I called to let the shop know I was here (number was posted outside). I got my temperature read before I entered, washed my hands immediately, and signed the normal "covid papers" that said I wasn't experiencing any symptoms. The shop was extremely clean, everyone was in face masks and the artists were in surgical gowns, masks, and a face shield. There was about 2-3 other people getting tattooed the same time I was but more than 6 feet part plus plastic shields. Barrett had my sketch ready to go and the tattooing session started within 10-15 minutes of my arrival. I got my cover up tattoo done by Michael Gary in October. We communicated thru emails and he responded quickly and answered all my questions and concerns. He explained the best way to cover up the originial tattoo. He provided suggestions and explained the reasoning behind them. I'm extremely happy with my cover up. I absolutely love it!! Best tattoo experience I've had in a long time. Pete is an incredible artist and just all around great person. He created an awesome custom piece for me and took the time to adjust it so that it was perfect. He also worked diligently the entire time (while still engaging in conversation with me) so that we were able to finish the piece in one session which I was really stoked about. The shop is clean, aesthetically pleasing with walls full of sick flash, and staff is exceptionally friendly. Favorite tattoo so far and I'll definitely be back for more.
