I had the absolute worst experience here about two Fridays ago. My two friends and I ordered food and we were not aware that the establishment closed at 10. So when we ordered food and mentioned we were eating there, the cashier BEN did not mention that they were closing soon. So as we were waiting for about ten minutes, the staff in the kitchen was obnoxiously loud and screaming. Being rude and make it known they were not happy with out last minute order. So when we received our food...it was in a bag and we took it out to eat. Meanwhile there was another couple eating at the booth next to us; no one gave them an issue. So as we were about to eat, BEN comes running over to tell us they are closing soon and we have to leave. BEN was very, very nasty to us and tried to say it was our fault for coming late....meanwhile we came about 20 minutes before closing and he did not mention anything of the closing hours when he took our orders. So we noticed there were outside picnic tables other customers were eating out so we asked BEN, if we could eat out there. He became very rude and said, "Ummmm I would prefer if you guys did not eat out there because I have to clean it up then." We started arguing with him and he told us to leave and wanted us to sit on the sidewalk and eat. We decided that was not right so we sat at the picnic table anyways, meanwhile OTHER CUSTOMERS are eating outside as well. Not even 3 minutes after sitting there, Ben comes running outside and starts shouting at us to leave!! He became very aggressive and threatening us to leave. We told him we wanted a refund and he said, "I will get you your refund so you guys can leave." A few minutes later, he came back and said, "My manager said you guys can eat out here but you need to hurry." We said ok and continued eating...Ben still stood there watching us and was still trying to argue with us. I told him to leave us alone and he finally did. I am still in shock by probably one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever dealt with!! The food itself tasted great...but BEN no way. He needs to be put in his place and learn...

We were in Asbury Park taking a nice walk around Wesley Lake and the boardwalk when we saw a sign advertising MOGO. I looked it up and saw that it had rave reviews. We were definitely in the mood for some Korean fusion. So we decided to stop by and grab some fun bites.

Parking was challenging. We did eventually catch a break when a car just pulled out as we drove by. By the way, the parking code (33100) here is the same as the Wesley Lake area, so go park in the 33100 zone for your access to the boardwalk. In this way, you consolidate the time you pay when you dine in the downtown area.

The inside was clean and trendy. I asked for a menu and proceeded to order 2 beef tacos and 1 beef burrito to go. I was told the total amount due once I was done ordering. That amount was quite a few dollars more than I had expected. So I had to point to the menu to make sure she entered what I ordered. And she did and so I paid. (More on this later)

While we waited we realized there's a "pickle bar" in the back where you could help yourself with kimchi, daikon radish, and spicy cucumber. It's super appetizing and a significant part of the experience, so make sure you don't miss it! The order came after a 10-15 minute wait, a bit longer than expected. But the food was well packaged. The tacos were spot on with tasty Korean beef and fresh and colorful veggies. The burrito was exactly the same ingredients, except I added the kimchi rice which was the only negative: the rice was hard and I also realized I could have got the kimchi from the pickle bar without the $1 surcharge.

Now back to the menu. After I got home I compared the photos of the menu and receipt and found out the menu prices were outdated. The beef tacos are now $5 instead $4.50, and the burritos $11.00 instead of $9.50. After I called to confirm my findings, they graciously agreed to refund me...

I had the worst experience ever!! The staff especially the cashier the guy with long hair was awful! I work with DoorDash and I’ve been there at 7:51 pm. I’m ready to pick Dominic order. A big order about 10 items. I wait and then 5 minutes later I do to the cashier and say I’m here for Dominic and the guy told me the workers are working on it. So I’ve been waiting and time pass. I see people coming in and out, about 10 people have been in and out. And they’re getting their order! At 8:20 pm, I tell them again what’s happening and the guy said they are working on it. And then later I speak to other worker different person, and then he tell me that There is not Dominic. They just noticed now that this order is missing after the other teammate told me that this is no Dominic. So the cashier print the order now and send it back there to the kitchen. So I’ve almost waited an hour and all for nothing. Worst teammate ever and the workers are horrible because they don’t know how to cooperate with each other and their drivers! The cashier was clueless and lying to me this whole time saying that the order is being made...

I came today 10/01 around 1:45 pm for first time with my Korean partner. I had gone to many Korean restaurants I had ate all types of Korean plates and sadly this place gives a really bad impression of what Korean food is. Our order was a plate of Korean beef bowl, Korean spicy wings, fish taco and side of kimchi fried rice. The beef on bowl was over cooked like it was re heated!! Literally black and I could taste and see the pieces of meat all burnt out. Annoyed I stand and ask the guy to please change my plate for any other item which it end to be another fish taco. I throw the bowl away. The guy didn’t even say I am sorry for your experience.. please let me change your opinion.. nothing! The pictures just says it all.. was brought in a cold tortilla with lots of onion no cabbage and the fish not fully cooked. The kimchi rice looks and tasted re heated and we look through all trying to find the kimchi!!! Unbelievable we paid for this order over $40!! Bucks. Shame!! Like I said I have visited soooo many places.. and you guys give a bad name to my Korean fellows out there who really deserve better than this.

Visited MOGO on friend’s recommendation… A good korean fusion restaurant in New Jersey! I felt it’s not worth the hype… Ambiance- The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating! The restaurant was not that clean the floor was all sticky and gross. There are booths and high chair. It’s walk-in service. We have to order first and pay first and then the server gets the food. Service- Service is a bit slow. Food - We almost tried everything in the menu - Fish tacos- were really good Chicken tacos - they should control on the amount coleslaw they put on it. Chicken wings - buffalo and soy ginger sauce - we liked buffalo sauce better. Burrito bowl - was okayish Bibimbap burger - the burger was good but it’s sweet. Kimichi fried rice - this dish was good We also tried their watermelon line juice it was good. Please note that most of the dishes have a sweeter side to it because of the sweet sauces.
