Junk replacement parts & materials. No accountability for shoddy work. Summary of facts: 1. The company's "service warranty" is nothing they really stand by. So essentially it is trash. 2. The company assumes all customers are cheats and they treat them like it consequently. 3. The company DOES NOT take responsibility when they make a mistake 4. The company lacks honesty and integrity when things go bad - which is precisely the time when those traits are needed most. reply to the business's reply yes, we did bring the phone back 6 weeks past your "service warranty" but that was after repair #1. We paid for a second repair! AND the reason it was brought back in was due to poor replacement parts used and/or bad tech repair, missing screws, defective adhesive from shoddy repair work the first repair (This was all confirmed by the company's own tech team!!!) Then we paid for a second repair. let me repeat that.. WE PAID FOR A SECOND REPAIR But this second repair also fell apart and this time in less than a few weeks. And after the second repair fell apart the phone was unrecoverable. Knowing full well it was the business's own fault that set the wheels in motion of needing multiple repairs to begin with to finally a dead phone needing replaced, the owner initially offered some compensation to help replace the phone. But when given some time to think about doing the right thing, they decided to choose the dishonorable path and then this offer was rescinded. The offer we agreed to was purchasing a replacement phone and splitting the cost. (this would have been somewhere around $150 for the store and $150 for myself). The the owner proceeded to tell me that all of their customers try to "pull a fast one" and rip them off by lying. Well, not all customers are liars, what about those people? If they make a mistake (and yes mistakes do happen) just don't expect them to take responsibility. Instead, they won't cover it. And NO, not even if it is within their "6 month service warranty" I really didn't want to get into all of this. Heck, I thought I was being fair by asking the company only pay for half of a replacement since their work caused all the issues in the first place. I was ok with the fact that "mistakes happen" but expect responsibility to help resolve those mistakes. Had they lived up to their initial agreement to split the cost of a replacement phone (heck, they really should've covered the entire thing) I would have written a glowing review, even after all the extra expense I incurred for the simple fact that they would have made an effort to fix the problem they themselves caused. But instead, I have to write this store in hopes that it helps someone make a better decision. In hindsight, I should have just purchased a screen replacement myself for $35 and done the work myself. It's not rocket science.

Emergency Tech Repair didn't charge me any diagnostic fees, and they fixed over $2500 worth of my tech for less than $450. They repaired two of our laptops and a phone, all of which are still working great. The two laptops were previously looked at for about $90 each at two other competitors. That was $450 total in "diagnostic fees". Both competitors then refused to fix either laptop anyways, and then returned our laptops in worse shape at least a week later. Emergency Tech Repair fixed all my stuff and turned it around to me in less than a week. And these were not easy laptop fixes either! Both were broken displays, one of them was 4k too. And they also replaced the missing screws on one of the laptops without charging for parts. They can also fix controllers for certain systems, including VR systems. I highly recommend taking your broken tech here. It will get fixed and you will get amazing service. I enjoy going here so much, I even visited for their official grand opening. The Asheville Chamber of Commerce was there for a ribbon cutting and everything. They let me hold the big scissors and gave me free lunch! Highlight of my week, for sure. Good lads!

So what started as just walking into a random store to us turned out to be an amazing experience! My son had wanted to get a PC for the longest and was settling for a generic(yet still expensive) PC from Best Buy. Speaking with Elisha there changed all that. He walked us through the whole building process, taking the time to go over everything and what to expect in detail for us, and also answering every question we had when it came to building our own PC. Showing him what we want to purchase originally, he was able to keep us well under the price point with also building our PC with better quality parts and components than we expected to have. The experience got even better when it came time to build it. Not only would they build it for us, but Elisha also took the time to have my son build it along side with him. This was perfect that way my son could learn how to upgrade it in the future, along with gaining knowledge about his PC. Long way to tell you that if you plan on building a PC or needing any work on already owned devices/electronics, these guys are awesome at what they do!

I have been working with these guys for about 2 months on getting a pc rebuilt. My former PC was showing signs of wear and tear i built it 3-4 years ago and the cooler was dying, power supply was not able to uphold the upgrades i have made over the years. With that being said i called and spoke with one of the owners who himself is an Air Force vet and after some discussion worked out what id like to go with as far as new parts. Needless to say it was fast and easy and the support from these guys is incredible. They have great customer service and by far put every single person who walks through their doors at the top of their list. That might be hundreds of people but they still make you individually feel as if youre cared for. After getting the PC home i booted up and started back my usual hobby of gaming and everything runs beautifully. If youre in the market for a new PC or just wanna do some new stuff with an old one these guys are excellent for any of your needs. To caveat off that i was waiting around in the store because they were finishing up and watching their work ethic and how each person was handled was very interesting to watch. Every person who walked in left with a smile, NOT one person left unhappy or upset in any form. As someone who never writes reviews and was not told to write this one these guys at Emergency Tech Repair are all around a good group and hard to find when it comes to honest and...
