I'm really disappointed. I don't get my nails done often by other people because I'm very particular about the length and health of my nails. I came into the salon to get dip powder removed from my nails and the lady who removed them was "done" in about 12 minutes. This was my first time having dip powder removed so I wasn't sure what to look for but I knew something was wrong. I was a walk-in towards the end of the day so I feel like being rushed out unfortunately. I was told my nails were done but I kept having to show the lady that the polish was still hard on various parts of my nail. She'd soak it for a few extra seconds and then drill the rest off. Another lady came afterward and soaked a few again for a few secs and then drilled more.

The 1st picture shows the length of my nails normally; its the only nail that hasn't broken off but there's still a gash in that nail too. The rest of my nails were so weak that they completely broke off within 24-48 hours after leaving the shop. They still haven't grown back and there are deep nicks in my nail bed for every single nail now (if you can zoom in on the pics of them in the picture.) I feel like the nails I have left are so unhealthy and destroyed now, and I have no clue what to do to get them back to what they were.

I do not trust going back. I'm 32 years old and this is the first time in my life that my nails have been this damaged. All of my family & family who saw my nails afterward were in absolute disbelief. I’m only giving 3 stars because the guy who did my daughters nails was absolutely amazing. However unfortunately I didn’t have the same experience and my fill took 2 hours because the guy who did mine had no idea what he was doing, he was shaking the entire time, people were constantly looking over his shoulder, when I went to wash my hands they asked to see my nails, I was super excited to try this place because I normally just drive 2 hours to get them done in NC and tbh I’ll probably just stick to doing that. I have never wanted to get out of a nail salon so fast in my life so walking out feeling very upset about the whole situation and something that was supposed to be relaxing and fun for me and my daughter turned into me feel anxious the whole time, I’m the type of person where I don’t want to disappoint someone with me saying oh I don’t like it so I would rather just pay leave and find a solution myself but when I got to my car and showed my husband and told him my whole experience nearly crying because I was just so overwhelmed with anxiety he went in to get our money back. I fully understand that people need to practice to learn but I don’t agree with it being with paying clients I was charged $65 (also refunded) for nails that look terrible, also in so much pain and nail glue all over my hands. This was my first time getting my nails done at Bamboo nail salon and my first time getting my nails done in a long time. I booked ahead of time and arrived to my appointment early and was okay with waiting but I was actually seen right away. The salon itself was very clean, the environment was fun, friendly, and the seating was comfortable. The salon was busy so I do recommend booking an appointment. All staff I interacted with were friendly and they offer a complimentary drink which was very nice. I got a full acrylic set with gel polish and I absolutely love the way they came out. The shape is beautiful and the polish is so sparkly and shiny. I was anxious about trying to find a nail salon I would feel comfortable in after moving states and leaving my old salon behind but I am beyond happy that I picked Bamboo nails. I have nerve damage in my wrists and hands with a bit of stiffness which I understand can be hard to work with, I unfortunately forgot to ask my techs name but he did a wonderful job and never expressed any frustration which helped put me at ease.
