Service at this location was slow and disorganized. We visited on a Saturday morning, just before noon. We made the mistake of going into the dining room. Which wound up being more busy than the drive thru. I watched as two front counter employees bounced between trying to manage the single register in operation, and prepare food. We had four orders of fries for our family of four. While the remaining food was bagged and boxed more quickly, we waited 10 minutes for fries. Additionally, I observed a customer come into the dining room after going through the drive thru, to complain that she had not received sauce for her chicken. While the customer was abrupt and a bit irritated, she stood waiting at the pick up end of the counter for about 5 minutes, before she was acknowledged one of the drive thru expediters proceeded to argue with the customer and would not give her replacement sauce. The dining room staff, in spite of being short handed and disorganized, were at least pleasant and offered us an extra fry, for our inconvenience of having to wait. The food was cold, however still tasty in spite of not receiving our chicken fresh. We will likely visit this location again, the next time we are in the area. Due to the fact that we do not have one locally. However, next time, I imagine we will use the drive thru, to avoid the time lost by going into the dining room. Additionally due the excessive wait time, our adult child and younger child , who were waiting for us in the car to get our food, got out of to join us in the dining room. We were just finally emerging from the the store as they walked in, however, my adult child unknowingly locked my keys in our vehicle. Which resulted in an over an hour wait for a lock smith and a 100 dollar service charge. It was an accident, that would have been avoid if we hadn't been in the restaurant waiting for 20 minutes. My 3 star rating is because the food is reasonably good. Otherwise, the rating would...
Read moreMy husband and I were venturing south on the outskirts of a snowstorm when our hunger left us with no choice but to seek nourishment from this establishment. I made my way into the building as wind and snow flurries swirled around me. I had just placed my order for two Cajun filet biscuit combos with Botato Rounds instead of fries. I stepped down to wait the extra time for the rounds (because who wouldn't wait 5 more minutes for rounds over fries) when darkness engulfed the building- a power outage. Confusion and despair swept over me as I wondered what would happen to the Bojangles meal we had long been craving. I watched as the staff figured out how to carry on. Fortunately they managed to get my biscuits and sweet tea to me before the power loss- but what about the Botato rounds? My heart sank as I heard some discussing the possibility of being sent home early- again I thought... what about the Botato rounds? Alas, the devastating news was delivered to me, "I'm sorry, our fryers are down. We're gonna have to refund you for the hash browns." Saddened but not wanting to only have a biscuit for dinner, I offered to accept fries that had already been prepared. "Yeah we can do that," she said as she prepared to give me very-not-botato-round fries that had been under the warmers. That's when I heard the words that brought hope back to my heart, "No, don't worry about it, Rosie's back there cooking the rounds on the stove." "Go Rosie!" I cheered inwardly. Rosie, who I learned was from the Fillipines, wasn't going to let a little power outage keep her from gifting the world with fried chicken and Botato Rounds. In a little while, the rounds were ready and my husband and I devoured them with much joy. Not all heroes wear capes and this Bojangles has a true hero on staff. Rosie saved the day. Oh, the rest of the staff was very...
Read moreI’ve rarely had such a lousy experience. I walked in to place my order. There were two people working the counter. I was told to wait. One person was working the drive through and the other was stacking cups - I was waiting so she could stack cups. There were no cars at the drive through and no one else in the place. The chairs were literally on top of each table. They were not closed or close to closing - I guess they don’t want indoor dining. Whatever. There was no reason I had to wait. But wait I did. If I wasn’t starving and hadn’t just finished 12 hours of driving I would have left but I was exhausted. Both workers disappeared. After about 10 minutes one came back to take my order. She was not very pleasant, no greeting, nothing. I ordered two pieces of chicken with mashed potatoes and a drink. I handed her a $10 and was told my change would be only in quarters. I ended up using my credit card. She slammed the drawer shut and took my card. It took an unreasonably long time to get my food. She just kinda threw the box on the counter. I asked for a bag. Anyways I went outside to the outdoor table to eat. One piece of chicken was almost burned. It was very tough. The other was very small and unappetizing. I realize not everyone is bright and sunny all the time but this encounter (I would say service but…) was really disappointing as was the food. I hope my experience was an anomaly. If not then these workers probably need some training on how to best interact...
