Greyhound: Bus Station — Local services in Ashland

Been riding the Ashland Bus System for about 6 months now because I lost my truck (which I loved Soo much 😟) but anyways, the bus drivers that I've rode with so far have all been pretty cool, most of them are nice & make ya feel pretty comfortable (& I'm not talkin bout the bumpy ride) it's not too bad 😜 but they can't help that anyways...They are all good drivers that I've seen so far....no complaints from me as of yet lol...And Believe me, if they're driving scared me, I'd let them know. Mine & many other lives are in their hands every day, every minute their underneath the wheel of that bus & I believe they know that & they take their job VERY SERIOUSLY! Or they'd never have taken on that responsibility if they didn't think they could handle it! So anyways..as for my review on the Ashland Bus System so far which I haven't been with them long but the little bit I have been I give them 5 big stars!!!!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 BUT I DO WANNA SAY THO, I DO PRAY EVERYDAY THAT ONE DAY SOON I'LL BE DRIVING MYSELF AGAIN AND WON'T HAVE TO DEPEND ON OTHER PEOPLE AS MUCH FOR HELP LIKE WE HAVE SEVERAL TIMES NOW AND THANK GOD FOR ALL OF THEM & THEY'RE HELP TOO!!!!💗💞🥰🙏 I JUST NEED & WANT MY INDEPENDENCE BACK!! January 5th, 2023, about 4:10pm. Getting on the 13th street bus as usual, to go pick up my son from daycare. I live at Bruce apartments. Now, everyone at the top of the hill waits by the stop sign across the street from the little, bust stop shelter. Most of the bus drivers pick us up there because it's safer than sitting in the middle of a 3 way road. Anyway, I'm getting on the bus and the driver; a shirt, older, husky man with a buzzcut and sunglasses snaps at me. "The bus stop is over THERE!" I stutter a bit and freeze on the step. I've never had a bus driver behave so rudely. But, I shrug it off and start to explain. "Oh, I know, but most of the..." "The bus stop is over THERE!" Cuts me off with an even ruder tone than before, pointing aggressively at the shelter stop. I get on without another word. Even in fast food, I have never been spoken to in such a rude and horrific way. Something needs to be done about...

It's a very clean place. And the staff are nice people willing to help with whatever questions or concerns customers have. But it's not a Greyhound Station in the traditional sense due to not being open 24hrs. And many of the Greyhound busses arrive and depart after hours sometimes in the middle of the night. So there are no places for riders to wait comfortably and safely. The main use of the facilities is for local city busses during regular business hours in which case there is a large, comfortable lobby for passengers to wait. And the staff does maintain a safe environment. There's also plenty of vending...
