Camayo Arcade — Attraction in Ashland

We arrived at the dead of night. OK, that was a little dramatic. But not far from the truth. It was my first time there. The place was rented for an evening in their event place upstairs. It is a fair sized room that can accommodate 50-80 odd people. It is a no frills space and while it did not have expensive setup, it did have round tables, chairs, a sink, a bathroom and a view of the front street (Winchester). A portion of the room is devoid of tables and can be a dance floor and other activities. Parking is only streetside in the front, but for the evening / night the rear bank parking is helpful. There is a rear entrance as well. Everything else in the building was closed so no experience there. Overall a fair place to rent if you need a space for an event. Depending on numbers, evenings/nights may yield better parking experience. The place is accessible and has roll in doorway and elevators. Hope this...

This is a two story building with lots of little boutiques, a barber shop, a sports memorabilia store, and their biggest attraction - Jim’s Hot Dogs and Spaghetti. The spaghetti is kind of a local attraction, just like Jim’s Steak and Spaghetti in Huntington, WV. The parking outside on Winchester Avenue is a bit nightmarish with their new roundabouts. The parking spots have been painted in a manner where you are required to back into them, but most people driving down the street don’t have enough sense to realize what you’re trying to do and they’ll pull right up to your back bumper and sit there, effectively blocking any attempt at parking. The building is pretty inside and I like the old look and the way the details of some of it is. There is a elevator.The bathroom doors are locked so you can't use the restroom in the building that I know of. Not a lot of businesses in the building. It's street parking and there's entrances from the front, side and back of the building. There is a Jim's spaghetti, I only ate there once it was good, the place is small not a lot of seating but there were seats available....
